  • Bear Mountain Lodge is in the Shenandoah mountains. Less than 10 minutes to the Skyline Drive Front Royal entrance. Enjoy hiking trails, the Shenandoah River, wineries, and all of what Front Royal has to offer. Property sits on approx. 6 acres.

This was a perfect house for a group getaway! The property is immaculate with beautiful views. We had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. The location is so convenient to downtown and great wineries. Would definitely stay here again

Stunning views of the mountains from the deck and hot tub, and especially through the large windows. We loved mornings in the living room, which has gorgeous views, a fireplace, cozy spots to curl up and plenty of space for our toddler to play. We had a wonderful stay for just a couple of days in late fall, but this would be a lovely spot year-round. Plenty of space even for a larger family. The whole house was very clean, with one of the best rental kitchens we’ve seen and comfortable beds. We will definitely stay here again!

Hiking Retreat

This was an excellent property. The house was well equipped and spotless. The location was in a neighborhood but the houses were several acres apart so there was no concern about privacy, or noise. Nice views of the surrounding hills and the fall foliage. The property is 15 minutes outside of Front Royal and an easy commute to numerous wineries. We enjoyed the brand new tasting room at Reitano Vinyard. We contacted the owner for help with some minor issues and got immediate assistance. We would gladly return to this location again.

Mountain Retreat

The perfect mountain home for a relaxing getaway! The proximity to the Front Royal Entrance to the Shenandoah National Park and the town was a plus! We saw deer (with a baby), rabbits, and tons of beautiful birds on the property.The house is nicely updated with all the amenities one could want.
