“Our room was very clean and staff very friendly,if I had to have one complaint it was that some parts of the hotel were a little dated,bar that it was a great stay and would stay again 👍”

“We didn't stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. Firstly, the surrounding area was deprived with half the buildings either boarded up or in disrepair. Secondly, having a 'seaview' and being a 'boutique' hotel is debatable, but definitely not from the outward appearance of the property. It was scruffy and needed maintenance to the paintwork and front door. Thirdly, to be made to stand outside ringing a bell for 30 minutes is unacceptable and shows poor customer service. The decision was made...

“We did not stay at this hotel as when we went to check in the hotel advised that they were double booked and they had arranged an alternative hotel. When we got to the alternative hotel the rooms were not ready and it was 7.45pm before we finally got into our room. “Place is managed by one man Tom who was very nice ...Owner was off to Birmingham as we arrived and another lady disappeared when I spoke to her so not much of a welcome . Place needs work and cleaning tbh ... Basic standards are a must especially in a town with so much competition.. Hotel had two names which doesn't help.Think we were the only ones there but we were the only ones for breakfast ... Took a while to get any response from anyone as place was deserted but got there in the end ...Tom...

“We arrived to a very warm welcome. Staff are absolutely lovely. Parking if you have a large car, not so easy but we got there in the end.”

“The Male on Reception was lovely, really polite. The rooms didn't look anything like the photos. It was freezing in the room, i had to sleep with multiple layers on. There was no TV remote, The view from the window was horrible. There was a 21st birthday party, it was so noisy, and people sat on the steps drunk when we was trying to get to our room. The food at the restaurant wasn't great and the prices were high for the quality. I wouldnt return but the staff were lovely. ”

“I mean for the price you’re getting everything you’d need. Staff were sound. £50 deposit was a bit mad but if you’re clean and respectful it’s not a worry. Great place to stay on a football away day too, perfect location to pubs and stadium. Bluebirds”
