Great spot, went back for a second stay. Peaceful/quiet, great breakfasts, very helpful and friendly hosts. Tiki and Surfer are a bonus.

The hobbit house was a great place to stay for our weekend on gabriola. Very accommodating and breakfast was delicious! The place had everything we needed and Nancy helped us find all the best spots on the island :)

The cabin was very private and convenient to restaurants and stores and parks. The cabin was stocked with everything you might want.Breakfast was outstanding.

Fantastic stay! The Hobbit house is a perfect spot for a couple to get away and enjoy nature. The hosts are exceptional and provided a delicious breakfast every morning! The house has everything you need, is walking distance to the ocean and so peaceful. Truly a wonderful stay. We’ve stayed in plenty of vrbos and this was by far our favorite!

The Hobbit is a great little place for a stay on Gabriolla Island. It’s clean, quaint and comfortable. It’s a great place to relax and unwind and the location is very convenient. Bed is very comfy! Nancy and Greg are great hosts. And the breakfasts are amazing. 10/10 would stay again.

We stayed at the hobbit house for our anniversary in July. We found the place to be cozy, clean and welcoming. The snack basket was a fun surprise! The hosts were so nice. They were accommodating and very respectful of our privacy. They provided a restaurant quality breakfast for us every morning, which was amazing! The cabin is located in a quiet wooded area with our own little patio area to relax. We loved sitting out there after a long day of hiking and exploring the island. We would absolutely stay here again, next time we’re on Gabriola

A lovely quiet and dark location, tasty breakfast, and a quick drive to the town centre and amenities.Note there are two dogs that bark at the property.

As with several times in the past, our stay at the Hobbit House was great. Nancy and Greg are really good hosts, and the setting is beautiful. The hosts provide some nice touches like plenty of bottled water and snacks. The cabin is comfortable and has kitchen well supplied with cooking gear. We really enjoy spending time on Gabriola, and the Hobbit House is a prefect home base from which to explore. Highly recommended!
