Nuestra casa de Harrison está a .5 millas del centro de Main St. Galena

Moderna casa de campo con 2 dormitorios, 2. 5 baños, amigable para perros, ubicada en el corazón de Galena con la sensación de estar en el campo. La casa está a menos de 5 minutos del centro de la ciudad o de una caminata de aventura de 10 minutos. Si puedes despegarte del porche delantero, entrarás en una gran sala de estar de dos pisos con una chimenea de leña entre la sala y el comedor. Los tragaluces atraen a la naturaleza y las amplias habitaciones hacen que esta casa se sienta grande y acogedora. Relájese en la sala de estar frente al televisor de pantalla plana con Blu Ray y cable o juegue a la mesa del comedor. Entre a la cocina y disfrute de la distribución de la cocina con la estufa Wolf Gas y todo lo que necesita o desea: cafetera, tostadora, microondas y máquina para hacer hielo. Salga de la cocina y use la parrilla de gas y le proporcionamos el propano. En la planta superior, disfrutará del amplio dormitorio principal con baño privado, armario y televisor de pantalla plana. Esta habitación tiene luz máxima y está abierta al salón de abajo. El nivel inferior cuenta con otra área de descanso y una nueva lavadora y secadora en el cuarto de lavado. El dormitorio tiene una cama doble de plataforma, baño privado, televisión inteligente de pantalla plana para que pueda ver Netflix, HULU, etc. Esta casa puede alojar a 4 personas en camas, 2 en el sofá cama y luego hay un colchón de aire para un extra de 2. La vivienda tiene ocupación hasta para 8 personas. Además, el propietario acaba de instalar una estación de carga para vehículos eléctricos que puede utilizar montada en el exterior del garaje. ¡Disfruta de nuestro retiro Harrison!

Nuestra política de reserva es que requerimos un 30% de descuento para mantener la casa para usted (esto no es un depósito). El saldo completo se debe 2 semanas antes del registro y se cargará automáticamente a la tarjeta de crédito registrada. Su estadía no es reembolsable en este momento, no podemos cambiar fechas ni reembolsar dinero, por favor considere comprar un seguro de viaje. House was nice, well kept, clean. Locatation was fantastic. The walk to the main road where the stores and resturaunts are is really not bad, just involves some steps. The house really has a country feel to it, even though you have neighbors close by. The surrounding woods give you the rural feeling and we saw so many deer on and around the property. I really had no communication with the property manager so I cant comment of that but did not need to, everything was perfect. Only issue I took note of are the pictures on the site can be misleading. The house sits on a hill (like most of the town) but the driveway is quite steep. Wife refused to back out of it. Also, the master bedroom is huge but it is an open loft concept, so you can hear what people are doing in the living room downstairs, so if privacy is a concern this is an issue. I still would rent here again in a heartbeat and look forward to comming back soon.

Loved the location and the walk to town including the 88 steps each way. Setting was awesome and our dog enjoyed the stay as well. We were able to use both the outdoor fire pit and indoor wood burning fireplace one evening. We had some miscommunication with the property manager over the time of a city inspection, but worked out ok. As others wrote it is tricky to warm up the lowest level and balance with the rest of the house. Some of the pots and pans could do to be replaced.So yes a couple items could have been slightly better, but when we reflect on the stay and the property the important items far outweighed anything to be picky about.Galena itself was great too!

We wanted a place to stay within walking distance to downtown Galena with at least 2 bathrooms. The Harrisson house fit the bill! We were able to enjoy our homemade breakfast then off to downtown for shopping, the historic blacksmith shop & living Christmas windows!

The house was spotless and the vibe was relaxing and cozy. We loved that there were little sitting areas in all different areas of the house so everyone had a place to go to have some alone time. The location was perfect. A 1 minute drive to the downtown or you could walk on the “secret path”. If you have knee problems the short drive might be better as it is a steep walk. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed for a girls weekend and loved the location to downtown (walkable), it was very clean! We loved waking up, having coffee on the porch and watching the deer, foxes, and other wildlife while we enjoyed a slower morning!

My family loved this property. The house is in town but secluded - surrounded by trees on three sides and set downhill from the road. The feel of being 'one with nature' was enhanced by a family of deer visiting us each morning. The house is uniquely designed - allowing easy visiting, but also space for those who prefer solitude. While we did get out and about everyday, we found ourselves simply enjoying sitting on the porch and around the firepit. In regards to the firepit - plenty of wood provided, but no fire starter or matches could be found. If you plan on cooking - as stated in the description, the kitchen is minimally stocked with cookware and bakeware and not much more than salt and pepper.

Property location was great for the proximity to Main St and downtown Galena. The house was nice, clean, and very well kept. The only downside to my wife and I as a protective parents was the separation of the two bedrooms. We all end up staying in the master bedroom, which was still nice. We brought our Dog, who stayed in the main floor, and he didn't felt left alone with the open ceiling to the master bedroom. Overall... We definitley enjoy our stay and visit to Galena and plan on coming back. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Galena rental. It was very clean and the 2 1/2 bathrooms were great! The wrap around porch was really cute and the fire pit was a special addition to the end of our evenings. There were 5 of us and one of our group tried to use the sofa bed, but it was really bad and uncomfortable, so I would keep that in mind if your group exceeds 4. We were only a couple of blocks from downtown, but because of the steep roads (if you’ve ever been to Galena, you know what I mean), we drove the 2 minute drive to downtown. Very steep driveway, too, but it was worth it because the house is adorable.

Description described the propery to a T. While it would be a 15 minute or so walk to Main Street, we did drive as there was no way our old lady bones could have walked those hills especially with all our shopping bags.. There is a weird noise in the house.when it started raining. Kinda sounds like a weed wacker constantly going.
