  • Escape to the tranquility of nature in our spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin nestled right on the banks of picturesque Pine Creek. Black Bear Lodge offers a cozy yet expansive haven for up to 10 guests, making it the ideal setting for the whole family. Guests have direct access to Pine Creek. The cabin also has a hot tub with a perfect view of the Creek. Black Bear Lodge is strategically situated- 15 miles to the PA Grand Canyon, 2 miles to downtown Galeton, and 20 miles to Wellsboro.

    Just wanted to add here that the INDOOR FIREPLACE is NOT AVAILABLE for guests to use during their stay (This is due to safety concerns AND our insurance company not allowing our guests to use it).

This cabin is a gem. Everything was very clean and host was very responsive. Located in an excellent location. Had wonderful father’s day weekend. Highly recommend!

The cabin was just as pictured - charming, spacious, and spotless. All of the basic supplies were stocked along with thoughtful items like binoculars to see wildlife in the yard or by the creek. The host was very quick to reply to questions. It was the perfect little getaway for us.

We loved our stay here, the place was in a good location, had a huge yard, very scenic. It’s our first time in the area but I do recommend this place.

The cabin was clean, quiet, and had the cutest decor. There was a very informative binder welcoming us to the property. Cozy indoor and out, beautiful property and surrounding area. Would love to come back in summer!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone. The cabin was very clean and easy to access. Well supplied if you needed anything and pretty close to most anything. We had a very enjoyable relaxing stay

Host is very responsive and answered all questions promptly. Cabin was better than described. Everything was there that you need to have an extended stay. Very clean and in excellent condtion. We would definitely rent here again in the future.

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at this cabin. Home was exacting as described. Comfy furniture, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Beautiful view of creek out back. Hot tub was amazing! Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.
