Very comfortable and clean. Ground floor was a bonus with a tv; good entertainment options. Beds were comfortable and worked perfectly for our group. All instructions were clear and easily understood. Thank you for an enjoyable family vacation!

Spring break getaway

We enjoyed fishing so much! We caught more than 80 fish!This house is well stocked, cleaned, and lots of extra beds. It felt like we are home from away home:)

This house had everything we needed for a fun-filled fishing vacation! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked will all of the utensils we needed. We wished that the air condition could’ve been colder but it was locked at 73 degrees being the lowest. We loved that the kayaks and paddleboards were available for us to use. The sure to carry your life jackets! Check in and check out was super easy! The host was always very responsive via Vrbo messages. We enjoyed how quiet and peaceful this entire area was, with easy access to food and the beach. Overall, we loved it here and will be back again soon!

Amazing!

The home was amazing! Very clean, so much space for Everyone. We celebrated Mother's Day Weekend and had a blast even with the rain. A true vacation and the fishing was phenomenal, we all caught fish!

On the Water!

This was the best location! Being just a 4 houses from the bay on the canal was amazing! We enjoyed the views and access to the bay. With a two minute golf cart ride to the beach, we had the best of both worlds. The green lights in the water were a highlight of fishing at night. We enjoyed our stay!

Great House on the Bay

Our group really enjoyed our recent stay at "5 O'Clock Somewhere". The location on the canal opening up to the bay was beautiful. We had a blast fishing/crabbing and also enjoyed getting out on the water with kayaks and paddleboards. The house itself was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. Easy access to the beach just across the highway. Highly recommended.

Texas Boys Outdoors Veteran Trip

We rented this property to take out some veteran guests on a bay fishing trip. The house was great! Everyone slept comfortably. Quick access to the bay was great and the VIEWS are fantastic!! The owner was a pleasure to work with and great about communication. Our only challenge was that we had to bring our boat down, so parking was tight.

Weekend Retreat

Weekend retreat with friends to step away from the city. The home is nicely laid out and comfortably fit 7. If we had 10, it would be tight. Great location for access to West Galveston bay. Home is on the canal, so bring your fishing poles. Bring your own kayaks and PFDs. Host is quick to respond.

Crabbing and Fishing Extravaganza

Our stay was epic as always on the west end of Galveston. We have been coming down for over 25 years and always enjoy the west end. Javier has a great Canal House situated close to the bay offering great fishing opportunities, amazing sunsets and close proximity to the beach. The crabbing was very good this year and the fishing was spotty but we did manage to catch a nice bunch of trout off of the dock. The house is exactly as the pictures show and Javier was always responsive with some minor questions we had about the house and how to turn on various lights etc...We will definitely be back again next year for our time honored tradition!

Go to Place for Anyone

What a magical place this was for my family. We had our twins 9th birthday here. This home is beautiful inside and out. It has everything you need. The back balcony to the porch to the boat dock is set up perfectly. We caught some big fish. 2 family members took the kayake and had a great time. We love this place and are blessed to found such a special family vacay spot. The owners are great people. They answer quickly from check in through check out and have knowlege of the area. 5 O’clock Somewhere

This family trip has to rate as one our best. Javier was awesome to work with. We had questions prior to getting there and some while we were there and he was quick to answer and easy to communicate with. He is definitely 5 Stars. The house was amazing, very well maintained. Being able to watch the Sun rise from your deck having coffee, along with sitting on the porch with a cocktail watching the sun set into the ocean was spectacular. The house is a great place to relax and just enjoy life!! Javier you are truly a great host. Again, thank you very much.
