First off, I was bitten by BED BUGS on my arm and back that required me to see my PCP when I got back home. I have an extensive rental history and this is the first time this has ever happen to me! Wile the house was generally clean, I was not expecting this. I shared this with the host and VRBO directly and hope they get this resolved. At first we thought the house was very cute and accommodating. Then then host's husband banged on the door the first morning startling everyone. (By the way, the hosts live next door.) He asked about messages I didn't respond to via the VRBO app and that we required approval for the types of dogs we have. I let him know the only emails I received was the rental approval and the check-in details. Afterwards, I reviewed the app and found messages that I received no notifications on and let the host know. I did see where the host requires prior approval for pets but the wording didn't initially make sense. For instance "MB" was an acronym used. I later figured it must stand for "must be." Really weird in my opinion, but okay. I apologized to Kathy about the confusion and she admitted that has has experienced communication issued with VRBO as well. I really hate to provide a bad review but I just can't get over getting bitten by bed bugs. Good luck.
