Great location. The layout of the house was strange. No doors on the kids bunk room and everyone has to walk right through the middle of the kids room to get to all of the other rooms or bathrooms. The game room was downstairs and musty smelling. Overall good stay though.

The location and idea of this house is great but The house needs some love. It’s very run down and musty. The second set of bunk beds are in a room not attached to the main house so we couldn’t even use with our kids. Over all Layout is strange.

Each room had so much space! My 3 boys had a great time in the game room. We enjoyed the location of the house. The house was clean, had great outdoor furniture and plenty of kitchen supplies.

We had a multi-family vacation and the house set up was great for sleeping accommodations. The house had a big driveway to allow parking and being at the end of a dead end street was nice. Management was quick to respond but we did have some issues with communication. The game room games and pool sticks were broken. There were ants in the downstairs kitchenette. We rented kayaks from the management company that were not delivered on the day we scheduled so have requested refund but have yet to receive the refund. I’m guessing that will take a few days. The house location and massive decks, layout, fishing were great but the property is run down. I suspect the owners have not been there in a while. Overall, everyone had a great time but we would rent elsewhere next time.

The house was beautiful! The layout was perfect. I loved how peaceful it was I wish I could’ve stayed longer! The host was very accommodating and communicative with me. They allowed me to communicate and were understanding. I would definitely book with the host again. As far as cleanliness there were a few big bugs spotted throughout the house but we do understand it’s the location so I don’t hold it against the host/ owner. I will say it wasn’t the host fault, but the trash bins for outside were full so when it came time to throwing away our 2 bags of trash it was already overflowing. I understand trash days are on certain days but upon arrival it was not a pleasant thing to see 3 full trash bins. Other than the trash everything was nice, again the host was Amazing. Definitely recommend especially groups of families and friends.

House was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed fishing behind the home. Kids enjoyed the arcade room with pool table and there were plenty of beds for everyone to sleep in. House was very spacious, kids enjoyed running around. Also had alot of bathrooms was a plus! Overall a great stay!

The house is a bit run down. I suspect the owners haven't been there in awhile. First thing you notice when you pull up is a damaged garage door. Im not saying the whole house was terrible, but we would not rent this house a second time. If owners could sink a little money into it and bring it up to speed, it could be nice! The mattresses are dreadful, its the small things that could change my opinion of this place!

We had a perfect stay with a large family 10 adults and 5 kids all had more than enough room to stretch out, fish in the canal and play in the sand. The property had everything we needed for family meals and communication with the managers were great. Thank you for hosting us and we’d love to return.

Not clean!

We were disappointed that we had to go a day late because of a commitment that came up! When we got to the property the next day it was a disaster! Towels and dirty Linen's all over the house! Beds not made, and no clean bedding! Pictures from the wall on the beds, and food on the kitchen floor! Cups on the floor in the game room! Completely unacceptable! The stairs leading to the balcony were damaged and dangerous, especially for my 82 year old Mom who discovered it! We called to report the condition and once the housekeepers came we couldn't really enjoy the first day because they were there for approximately 5-6 hours to clean the place up! We had a blast after that, but definitely shouldn't have had a house like tjos! We left a day early to go home!

Great BeachBox Vacation Home

The property was great. Love the large kitchen and the game room. The only con was the home had a damp smell which can be alleviated by putting some damp-rid in the rooms. Other than that, a great place to vacation.

If your family loves to fish, this is a great spot!!

I’ll start with the best part; the fishing! The lot next door is an open lot so there was sooooo much room for the kids, all 11 and under, to fish without crossing/tangling lines. Not only that, but because it’s on the main canal, they were pulling up fish left and right. They were just little fish but for the kids it was everything! Even kept the 6 year old’s attention! I would give the location 10 stars if I could. The location far outweighed the bizarre layout (see below) and the kind of gross couch in the living room. I’d definitely stay again! When we pulled up we were a little worried because the outside wasn’t as pretty as others and the garage door was smashed in. But when we walked inside that instantly changed. The kitchen/dining/living area was huge and the kitchen was very nice and clean. Plenty of room for our group of 13 to gather. They layout of the house is very awkward. There is a bathroom off the living area, then you walk through a double door to the kids bunkbed room and there’s another bathroom. Keep walking and you’ll find two bedrooms with king beds but not another bathroom. This meant adults in those rooms had to walk through the kids room to use the restroom. Very weird but we made it work. At the end of the hall is a very narrow spiral staircase that leads to the master bedroom. The master is awesome! Huge with a giant bathroom and private balcony. The only complaint is, due to the scary spiral staircase, my older in-laws didn’t feel comfortable

The stay was great. My only complaint would be the only access to the first floor rooms (bunk room and gameroom ) was from an outside staircase. It was raining during our stay. It made it difficult for some of our guest to navigate during the rain. Otherwise, the stay was great.
