Great little place close to the beach . However only one restroom downstairs and beds are on 2 nd floor . Only for 4 people instead of 6 because the sofa bed in not appropriate to sleep . Mattress is not good . Other than that the kitchen is well equipped . Will Stay there again

There’s some crakes on the shower’s floor and som black stains . And by the way, we have some rain heavy rain this morning and we have big leak water leak in there between the kitchen and the living room.

Highly recommend!

This beach house was absolutely perfect for my family of four! Super clean and cute😁. Walking distance to beach and Seawall Boulevard. Highly recommend this house to anyone and everyone!

Great beach getaway!

Very quint place to stay, the bathroom is downstairs from main bedroom but not a big issue unless you have any trouble with stairs. The HVAC system works good but the airflow to upstairs is lower so you will need to set thermostat about 70 degrees to keep bedroom upstairs comfortable. Being an HVAC technician I would suggest possibly installing a ductless mini split system upstairs but truly is was ok. If you had someone downstairs they might get cold at night. The location is great, you can walk to beach, even walked to church nearby. Not very far to the Strand district, shopping and restaurants.

This property was great. 3 ladies had a great time. The house is beautiful and just a short walk to the ocean. Everything was just as they said on the website. I will rent again if possible!

Lovely cozy place

The place was great! Clean, nice old house, good neighborhood, safe. Place was very comfortable, enough place for family with the kids. We loved the decoration, all the accessories at the place. You can have bbq outside as well. Had all the facilities we needed. Good coffee and breakfast places is in 10 min walking distance.(sunflower bakery and Mosquito cafè). Beach is just 5 min away.

Beach house getaway.

It was a very clean house. I love the characteristics of the house. It is an older house. When I first seen the bathroom I loved it, after taking a shower I wasn't a big fan of the tiny stand up shower mainly because of 2 reasons 1. My husband and I love taking showers together and as we both did fit it wasn't easy to move around of course 2. The bathroom floor would be completely soaked after anyone taking a shower. There wasn't a mop in the house so I bought a cheap one just to mop up the water so no one would track water through the house on the beautiful floors. My husband and I slept in the I'm assuming the master bedroom the bed was a little uncomfortable for me personally. It was a mattress and a wood frame. I'm Not saying it was terrible I'm just use to having a little more cushion or squishy memory foam type bed. My mom slept on the day bed she said it was ok haha again we are spoiled to our memory foam. We had a very relaxing time in the house. My kids enjoyed watching Netflix while I cooked dinner. My husband and I enjoyed sitting out on the patio and deck areas. Unfortunately the house isn't close enough to see the ocean which we new that by reading the online listing. You have a small walk to the beach it isn't bad if you are able to walk it. (My grandma which wasn't with us this time wouldn't have been able to walk it.) You do have to cross the busy seawall street. We could see Pleasure Pear from the beach. We could have walked to it as well also a good walk. We just enjoyed the fun yet relaxing time on the beach. My husband and son walked down a little ways to go fishing off some rocks. There was a bait vending machine at a store that was very convenient. They caught a few smaller fish. We also was able to see a dolphin in the far distance. Overall we had an amazing time. I would definitely stay in the house again.

Great historic house a few blocks from the beach

Great house for a couple. House was very clean and ready to go when we got there. Good kitchen with a washer and dryer. Wife loved the claw foot bathtub. The upper balcony was a great spot for a morning coffee and a late night drink. The only con about this house was the mattress was as old as the house. After the first night, the next morning I went straight to target to buy an air mattress. We set it up downstairs cause it was closer to the bathroom. If it wasn't for the mattress this would be a 5 star house.

Family fun

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Very easy to get to the beach-even with a 2 and 4 year old. Loved the different outdoor sitting areas. Only concern for other families would be if you have light sleepers-can only access master bedroom through other bedroom unless you go outside and down the stairs

Perfect beach spot for our family!

We were so happy we found this place! It was perfect! Great location to walk to the beach and Benno’s! Really cool old house, clean and quiet! This will definitely be our beach stay location on our next Galveston trip!
