We had an awesome family reunion here! Love the views and amazing access to the Beach! Lots of room and parking. Most importantly we loved the closed in yard for our dog to rin aroun! Lots of great beds. Perfect place for a family, they had a naby crib and play pin for came in super helpful!!

Very nice house with plenty of room for everyone. Loved the two pools and the beach volleyball court that was right in the back yard. Will definitely stay here again.

Disappointment - Good but not good

Overall we made it good stay. Usually we do not write bad reviews. However when we checked in -the lock box would not open, took several tries to pop it open. Cowboy pool was filled with sand and an old soda can was floating in it when we arrived. Trash in the trash cans outside as well as one of the restrooms. Upon entry the house floors were dirty and floor was taped with blue painters tape in several areas covering the damage to floors. While staying my nephew got hit in face with a bar that broke off from one of the bunk bed, sleeping on top was my son a 16 year old 100lb kid. So luckily he didn’t get severely hurt. No one could sleep in the top bunks after the first night stay. Bunk beds NOT durable nor Safe for any future guest. Second day there was roaches in the utensils cabinet and roaches in bedroom, which was really disappointing. And embarrassing for my guest. The description states loaded kitchen but there was no pans to cook eggs on luckily we had brought on own. Cabinet in kitchen broken- fell on my guest foot when opening it, and most of the blind in the house broken. Balcony doors do NOT open at all , was looking forward to walking out on balcony from the bedroom room and door complete rusted, doors would not open. Overall we made it a good stay - but very disappointed with the how much we paid for the roaches and broken bunk beds. Will not book this property again. Bunk beds and roaches major issue. Close to beach but too far to walk. Pool was great.

Summer Family Gathering

Our family was meeting up for our annual summer vacation at the beach house. We have a couple severely autistic children so a couple adults went in first in hopes to child proof the house. When they walked up the steps there was a dead roach then they pushed the couch away from the railing and uncovered tons of trash to include a chicken bone. A little more attention to cleaning would have been appreciated. Additionally at shower time one ofThe kids accidentally stepped on a nail that was sticking out from the tub area. In a high traffic spot it’s important to check for hazards. Our first morning we planned a hefty breakfast before heading to the beach. Unfortunately there wasn’t even pans to cook eggs solely deep pots and not a oven mitten available either! We plan at least 2 getaways a year and we tried somewhere new with coming to this location and we were not impressed. We’ve never stayed somewhere there wasn’t basics and enough space for comfortable seating in living areas for our family. This location may have enough beds for a large group but not much else comfortability.

This property is tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood with ocean views and great vibes. Easily sleeps 16 guests. Will book this locations again when visiting Galveston.

Fun for teens and mom!!

I took my 17 year old son and 8 of his friends. They all loved the place and short walk to the beach. They really enjoyed playing volleyball on the sand court. Swimming pool was still a little cold but a few got in. Plenty of room for each to have their own bed.

Hidden germ!

We enjoyed our stay at this beach home, plenty of space/beds for big group. The house was clean, check in was easy, and the property management are very friendly and responsive. Love the ocean view, and the backyard space for kids to play, fireplace was perfect for catching up with the family/friends. Only thing could use a little upgrade is the grille, it has a charcoal grille that’s a bit of seasoned. Will definitely recommend this hidden germ for weekend getaway!

Absolutely Amazing

We loved the house it’s perfect for a family stay. Its so roomy and comfortable. The view is absolutely amazing. The owners were great with communication and making sure we were satisfied with our stay. Neighbors are friendly, neighborhood is quiet and homey. 10/10 will be booking again in the future

Galveston Thanksgiving getaway

Very nice property. Great accommodations and plenty of sleeping spaces. Had a hard time unlocking the doors, locks didn’t open easy with the key. The property really needs to be sprayed for spiders downstairs. Lots of spiders on the ground floor. Turned over furniture and there were spiders and lots of spider egg sacks. Granddaughter was bitten on the leg by a spider and they had other spiders on the beds. Other than the spiders, the property was great!

Excellent Place for a Beach Vacation

We had a great time staying at the Sea Esta in Galveston. The check-in process was easy. The house was in a quiet little neighborhood and literally a five-minute walk to the beach. The house itself was clean and tidy when we arrived. And most importantly for us, there was plenty of space. We had three families - five adults and four children under four - staying here and there were beds and bedrooms to spare. It did not feel cramped at all, even when we were all together in the main living space. And the description of the property on the listing was extremely accurate. The weather didn't cooperate so we didn't really get to take advantage of the pool, hot tub, sand volleyball pit, or fire pit, but if the weather had been better we would have loved to enjoy those as well. There's also a park just a five minute walk from the house that's great for young kids (it was a bit big for our two and four year olds). The house is about 20-30 minutes away from some of the main attractions of Galveston, so take that into consideration when making plans in town. But there is a grocery mart nearby and several great restaurants just 10 minutes or less away (I highly recommend the Way West Grill). Overall, this was an excellent experience and if we ever make plans to come back to Galveston (which is much more likely after we had such a good time this trip), this will be number one on our list of lodging options.

Infestation of spiders!!!

2 star rating for the infestation of spiders-no exaggeration! We were not able to use the bottom floor bedrooms, bathroom & game. No outdoor shower as advertised, only one arcade game, not 2 as advertised, stair trim missing on a few of the interior steps with nails sticking up! Mold in bathroom and along baseboards.

Great accommodations for large family/group

Everything was great! Just a small issue with cleanliness of all the floors and stairs. Also, 1 downstairs bedroom has no ac vent. But very spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. We had a wonderful time. My grandkids, all 9 enjoyed the pools

Nice Big Home

Got to enjoy the family as we gathered in this roomy home, space for everyone outside, the pools, the home itself. Very spacious and comfortable. We surely enjoyed the stay and amenities ❤️ Will stay again!!

Great Stay

Overall we had an amazing fun stay! There was an amazing amount of space, the view was perfect and the pools were fun. The not so good, the floors were very dirty. So dirty that my son’s feet turned black and so we had to wear shoes inside the whole time. The AC was not cooling well and it was 76 while we slept. They said they would let maintamce know but that didn’t really fix the uncomfortable temp while WE slept. Definitely recommend if AC is working, to stay here!
