Small townhouse on a dead-end in the southeast pocket of the town. Beachy decor is fitting - but the listing was inaccurate and there was abhorrent communication from the property manager. Scheduled to stay for one night 3 months prior to arrival, and sent a greeting message thanking the owner. Never received a response of any sorts - messaged again a week out from the stay and just got an impersonal and careless response stating that they only accept stays of two nights or longer, despite me having already booked, confirmed, paid for the reservation and reached out to the property owner months ahead of time. Mentioned that in the message and once again didn’t receive a response, contacted customer service to call them and they got voicemail, had to find their contact info via google search and called both their landline and cell phone and was consistently FORWARDED to voicemail. Received a text with the code to the door on the day of check-in, my anxiety wasn’t peaked at that point. Received a 1 ring phone call from the property owner but upon answering the call they had already hung up, and returned none of my following phone calls or sent me any follow up message. The listing claimed there were 4 beds at the time of us reserving, sleeping 8 - there were 2. Claims kayaks, a hot tub, a jacuzzi whirlpool - all false claims. Claims working laundry, broken. Claims 4 bikes - there actually were 3 bikes - flat tires, no pump. Would never put any faith in these people again.
