Paraíso de los pescadores: el canal más cercano a cebo, gas, restaurante y bar en barco

BYOB (traiga su propio bote) para pescar o simplemente venga a relajarse en este encantador 4 dormitorios y 2 baños con una excelente área de fiesta en la planta baja. Barras de granito arriba y abajo. La televisión está arriba y abajo con cable. 2 minutos para tienda de cebo, puerto deportivo, gas, tienda, restaurante y bar en bote; 200 yardas de la casa ..5 minutos estás en la bahía ... Gran pesca desde nuestro muelle con luces subacuáticas y aéreas para la pesca nocturna. Hay un área de limpieza en el muelle para limpiar su pesca del día. Además, el muelle de pesca más largo de la isla está disponible para usted; A 4 minutos en coche.

Nuestra casa del canal es lo mejor de ambos mundos. Sabemos que será una opción para los pescadores, pero a los "vagabundos de la playa" también les encantará. Una gran playa está a solo 1/2 milla de distancia, a un par de minutos en auto. Luego, cuando regresas a casa después de un día en la playa y te relajas junto al canal, aún tienes esa sensación de playa. ¡¡Lo amarás!!

La casa tiene una cubierta protegida que extiende el área de la sala de estar / cocina con vista al canal. También hay una pequeña terraza para tomar el sol. Hay una cocina recientemente actualizada y totalmente funcional con encimeras de granito, microondas, horno y estufa, refrigerador, lavavajillas, vajilla y utensilios para su uso.

It was just what we were looking for. We were able to take our fishing boat down and tie it off right behind the house. Fishing off the back deck was great. Grandchildren loved it. It was close to beach to drive over. love the property,

Perfect stay at great location on canals

The property was exactly as described, with a welcoming host who made our stay memorable. We enjoyed the comfortable, well-equipped kitchen and bedrooms, ample shaded outdoor seating, and convenient laundry facilities. Dock fishing and using the crab pots provided were family favorites. The quiet location near the harbor marina was excellent. We enjoyed using the grill and propane fry pot for outdoor cooking and would gladly stay here again. Thank you Barry!

50th Birthday Trip was GREAT!

The house was super comfy and clean. The ability to fish right off the back deck was the main reason we booked and it did not disappoint except the fish didn't cooperate. But, that was not the homes fault. The screened in upper patio was wonderful in the evenings and at sunrise. Had my morning coffee out there every day. Only issue with the house was that the green fishing lights advertised in the post for the home were not operational. But, that didn't cause any big problems. Barry the owner was quick to respond and always friendly to deal with. If you are looking for a comfy and relaxing getaway, definitely book this home!

Cute House & lotsa Trout!

House was nice (4 bedrooms were great for our big group!) and had everything we needed. Plenty of downstairs areas to sit and relax. Keeper trout swimming in the green fishing light at night! Barry was a great host, good communication- even when we had a couple hiccups that were our fault. Nice and understanding. House is close to the marina and the restaurant food is great. Subdivision pool looks to be recently re-done and all new chairs and loungers. Kids loved that it was 9ft deep at one end.

Perfect Quick Getaway

It was a nice home right on the canal water. We had fun fishing all day and night, swimming at the community pool and just a short drive to the beach. Barry was very attentive, and we enjoyed his home which was in a great location. Will definitely be back in the future!

All around amazing!!

First off, there are just too many things that we loved about this house - the outdoor shower, the location on the canal, the bedrooms, the lower party area, the grill area, all of it was great! The kids especially loved being able to shower outside. All the unexpected extras were amazing as well...crab pots! I mean seriously?!?! That was super fun... careful, those crabbies can pack a mean punch, LOL. We loved discovering so many cool things about the place. Only thing I would add would be a couple of large mixing bowls but that's just because it's what I am used to. Barry was super responsive to all our questions. 5 of 5 stars. I would recommend this place to anyone! Thank you!

Did not want to leave !

We had such a blast and the house was GREAT! Great location in a cute and friendly neighborhood. The owner was excellent and all communication was a breeze! We went for my sons senior trip as a graduation gift, my husband and myself plus my parents and my son and his two best friends (18year old boys), they had so much fun fishing the canal that they never even used electronics (except to take pictures of their catches). We will be back for sure!

End of Summer Trip

This was our third trip to stay in the area, first time in this house and neighborhood. The house was great! Plenty of space to move around and with a busy toddler that is a must. Big detail to me as a parent is the house is decorated but not filled with breakable nicknacks. The screened in deck was AWESOME! We ate breakfast on it and hung out every night safe from mosquitoes. Beds are on the smaller side (no king) but sleeps two adults comfortably. We didn't have much luck fishing but there are underwater lights provided for those who really commit. Plenty of seating downstairs to hangout and always had a breeze. Trips to the beach are quick and easy. The boat ramp was easier to access than some other neighborhoods and the baitshop is right there next to it. Also we checked out the restaurant in the neighborhood. Great food and 1/2 gallon margaritas to go! All in all this stay was comfortable and relaxing which is all we needed. The owner was easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. We will definitely be coming back to the location and hopefully this house.

Fabulous Downstairs Area

We stayed here for my fiance's 40th birthday/staycation with the kiddos before school started back. It is an older beach house so you can see the wood damage on the walls in areas from Hurricane Season but the house overall was as cute as could be. Clean and the Horseshoe shaped kitchen with granite counters was my absolute fav part of the house. The kids enjoyed playing our ring toss game we brought with us on the upstairs screened patio off the kitchen and living area. We had one hiccup with our bed in our bedroom, the guests before us broke the box spring, but Barry came to help remedy the situation so that we were more comfortable. The Swing downstairs with the hidden tv above the kitchen area was my favorite. Enjoyed having a downstairs toilet as well. The lights above the seating area downstairs are so cute, we enjoyed playing cards while the guys fished off the canal. My only true complaint would be that the showers upstairs are very tiny, feel like you can barely move around easy, however there is a downstairs shower with hot and cold water and it does have a door to close. I enjoyed a few showers downstairs looking up at the stars and having plenty of room to not bang into the wall down there. Wish I had an outdoor shower like that at home lol It is about a 25 minute back to the main part of the seawall for grocery stores and activities but that didn't bother us as we were there to just chill and hang out. We brought groceries with us and only ate out a few times during out week in Galveston. Great Host, cute 4 bedroom casa Would stay again if in the area.

Family fishing vacation

This was the best fishing vacation ever. The Grandson fished ever day and way until the night. The house was clean and very roomy for 8 people. Easy to get to and away from all the people in town so you could just relax. Would go back in a heart beat. Also, the Owner was so nice to work with and very Welcoming.

Great Stay!

The house is awesome. The AC is fabulous especially with the coast humidity. The kids loved fishing and crabbing at the house. Close to the beach. There is no bunk bed, even though there is one in the pics. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful, Relaxing Time

My husband and I had a great time staying here. The property is much nicer than the pictures - much of the furniture is nicer and newer than what is in the pictures. The covered patio out back is soooo nice for relaxing. Beds were comfortable. Very clean. Tons of fish the first night out by the lights. Caught a few crabs also. Area underneath has plenty of seating and is great for relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked. Neighborhood was so nice to walk through. Home is very close to the marina, which was great for getting bait, ice, and food if needed. Restaurant at marina was nice as well, although a bit pricey. Very close to public beaches. Would definitely stay here again if it was just me and my husband. No bath tub to bathe our kids and the showers were small, but we ended up showering in the outdoor shower which was awesome! would definitely stay here again.

Great Property

I have been traveling to Galveston for 20 years and have stayed at many properties mostly in Sea Isle and Jamaica beach. This property is an absolute bargain! It was extremely clean and has everything you could possibly want. We caught a ton of fish and crab right off the dock too. We will be back!!

Great Canal Home

Seemed way larger than 1000 sq ft! Soooo much seating and tables to eat/play games on. Definitely will contact Barry to stay again! Had a great weekend and caught plenty of crabs and fish! LOVED the screened in porch in the deck/balcony! Could sit outside and enjoy the breeze without bugs/mosquitoes taking you away!; Not many rentals have this! Again, we had a great time and the house was perfect for our family!

Sea Isle Trip

It was a very nice place. We caught a lot fish and crabs. My husband even caught a baby stingray. We really enjoyed our stay and Barry was very informative and made sure we got in and everything was good.
