There was something wrong with our initial booking, so host offered a different place which was totally fine! We spent a weekend at this place for my father’s 60th. My parents loved this place because they could fishing/crabbing on the dock. The place we nice and clean, however due to the high mosquitoes.. we wish there were nets on the windows since we love to enjoy the breeze through the house. Each room had a bathroom which worked out great!

Booked HOUSE A through VRBO (had a foosball table in picture). Was told that there were problems and that we would be moved to a upgraded house. was sent details of HOUSE B (had a Foosball table and a Ping pong table in picture) Communicated several time over this house and was told it was an upgrade but I wouldn't be charge extra. The bed arrangement still worked for us so we agreed. Showed up to check in and we were given HOUSE C (No foosball or ping pong table). House C was dirty, feces still in toilet, smell of smoke, beds in disarray. Fridge also didn't work and extremely rusted on the inside freezer. Bed layout also didn't work for us, me and my wife sleep separately on extremely wobbly bunkbeds, the bottom bunks being on the floor. the doors didn't close upstairs so we stared at a blinking blue light in the hall from the elevator all night long. Barn door on downstairs bathroom also didn't close correctly. All i was told was that there was a mix-up on there end and they appreciate my understanding. But, i don't understand, i think it was a complete waste of money. And I feel people should book else where with a more reliable and honest host.

Traveled with our son’s family including 3 grown grandsons. This house was so perfect - great game room with lots to keep them busy. Everything in the house was exactly what we needed to have a great vacation. Communication with the host was quick and easy. Would highly recommend!

Recently stayed in this charming house and loved that it was in such a quiet area. The place was super peaceful, and the view of the water was beautiful. The area was safe and perfect for relaxing walks. The house was very clean and comfortable. It's a great spot if you're looking for a quiet place with nice views.

This home provides all the comforts necessary to enjoy all the excitement and rejuvenation of beach life in a vibrant community with the feel of quiet and relaxation of a retreat. Space for more than a dozen people, if necessary, or sepaspaces for couples to use as their own. A great choice.

The location was quiet with a wonderful breeze and views of water. We loved hanging out on the porch with the breeze. Plenty of sleep space but could have used one more bathroom. Nice open living room & kitchen.

The house was just as described. Very comfortable and a great family/game room. The sunset view is excellent, and the location is great. Located on a dead end road away from the main part of the island, it is a vert quiet neighborhood. The only complaint we had was due to the house being up on stilts and 25-30mph winds while we were there. A few of us were feeling a little sea sick the first night from the house shaking in the wind. Otherwise I would highly recommend.

The property was immaculate. A real nice, quiet, and peaceful environment. The fishing was fair on red fish, black drum, and trout. The home was very spacious and the owner(s) response time to certain questions that aroused were answered promptly. The location is minutes from the beach and also Moody Garden is nearby if you're looking for seasonal entertainment. The only bad thing is the time flew by too fast. Next time I'll reserve for a longer stay. This property I would highly recommend!!

Rooms were good, bedding excellent. Privacy top Notch. Boardwalk and sunset views AMAZING! Only issue we ran into was not enough pots to make our several planned dishes. We managed. Much more than ample silverware, dinnerware and cutlery, though. Perfectly met out needs for this work planning session.

The whole process was easy & communication was flawless. Our group ranged in age from 35 to 61 & all enjoyed the property. My fiancé loves to fish so I wanted a waterfront property, not just close to a beach but steps from the water to make my proposal. She loved it & we caught a huge Red & a few Drum. It was a wonderful stay & we will return. Quick reply to every question. The house has everything you can think of .

The location in the cove is great, this is the third time we stayed here in the area and enjoyed it everytime. The house has plenty of space for the whole family. Fishing is a bonus with the finger piers. We will defintely be back!

Great views in a quiet cove. The house has everything you need. Great use of space. Everyone had a room. Comfortable beds. Easy access to the city and the beach, without feeling like you are in the middle of everything. The house was clean. The host was responsive and welcoming. Overall, we had a great time!

We enjoyed staying here so much! The home is beautiful and the view is absolutely incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed the super quiet location and walking down the boardwalk to go fishing! Our host Sam was very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. We will definitely be back! Thanks Sam for making our stay so enjoyable!

This house is in a stunning location and communication with management was excellent. House was very well equipped. Two things worth noting: the title on Vrbo said 6 bedroom but one of those bedrooms was the game room with a pullout couch. Worked fine for us because we were all family, but a little confusing. Secondly, the house moves with the wind, sways slightly. No problem at all unless you are prone to motion sickness. Two of our party had to stay at a hotel. We have stayed at four Galveston properties before without experiencing this problem and it didn’t bother most of us. The boardwalk in the back of the house was great for fishing, even caught a couple redfish.
