Kid friendly w/ slide&swings, 11 mi to Moody Gardens for cheer or holiday events

Our vacation home, completed October, 2019 is located in Indian Beach, a few miles west of Galveston proper. We have beach and bay views, both about 4 blocks away. This 3 BR, 2 full bath bay house offers plenty of room + 600 sf of covered and open deck for your outdoor enjoyment. There is covered parking for 2 cars and more entertainment space at the ground level. The 30 x 72 ft driveway gives room for large motorcycle trailers, boat trailers, etc. When you walk up the stairs, you walk through the 400 ft covered beach-facing deck. This is where we like to spend most of our time. When you enter the house, you will see we have an open concept living/dining/kitchen area where you can cook, eat, watch TV, play games together or just relax and listen to the waves crashing on the beach 4 blocks away. Fully equipped kitchen and all new appliances provide the tools you need for cooking and we have suggestions on local eateries you can try, as well. We provide a Keurig coffee system, coffee, filters and tea for your convenience. The king bedroom has a king bed, private exit to the covered screened deck, TV, closet and attached master bath with extra large shower and double shower heads. We offer plenty of soaps, towels, etc in both of our bathrooms. The queen bedroom has a queen bed, TV, large closet, attached 2nd full bath with garden tub/shower combo. This 2nd bath also has a door that opens to hall for flexibility. The bunkbed room has a bunkbed with double mattress on bottom and twin on top that will accommodate 2 adults or 4 kids comfortably, storage and a private exit to the west balcony. There is also an east side open deck that runs the length of the house where you can see cows grazing and an occasional coyote trot through. On the ground level under the house, there is covered parking for 2 cars, a charcoal grill with charcoal and grill tools provided, and a table and chairs for additional entertainment space. Also on the ground level under the house, we have just added a cool 7-foot kid's tube slide, 2 kid's swings, a porch swing, and a toddler swing. Enjoy our outdoor shower with hot and cold water after a day at the beach. Also we provide 2 adult bicycles, several boogie boards, wagon, kids sand toys and beach towels for your use at the beach. For some volleyball fun, we provide a volleyball net and ball and for the basketball lovers, we have a basketball goal and ball. We have added a ping pong table and a mini pickle ball court. These are a few local restaurants nearby in Jamaica Beach about 2 miles away: Nates Seafood, Way West Pizzeria, Shrimp and Stuff food truck, Subway sandwich shop. Also in Jamaica Beach is Seven Seas grocery store and meat market, a liquor store, convenient stores, and a coffee/wine bar. Also, the West End Marina Restaurant/Sandbar Grill is located in nearby Sea Isle. There is a children's park located in Jamaica Beach. We are located just 3 miles from Galveston State Park.
