  • Welcome to Crystal Beach and the Salty Olive!! We offer a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home with wireless internet, Roku tv’s with satellite and Netflix capabilities in all rooms. Spacious living room with couch, love seat and oversized chair. Laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Kitchen has all dishes, utensils, cookware, regular and k-cup coffee makers, crockpot, blender, and toaster. Master bedroom has queen size bed, guest room 1 has queen size bed and guest room 2 has full size bed and twin size bunk beds. Two Picnic tables and BBQ pit provided and outdoor shower with pet wash is downstairs. We hope you will allow us to make your vacation awesome!!

Great family beach vacation spot

This beach house rental is in a great location, a short walk to the beach. It's a perfect, simple house for a family to stay comfortably and enjoy.

Beach getaway

Enjoyed the stay- perfect location to the beach and just far enough away you’re not bothered by all the music and crazy peeps. Great patio upstairs and downstairs- constant breeze to stay cool! Would stay here again for sure!

The property is wonderful, the neighborhood is safe and friendly. Easy beach access. The owners are kind and communicative. We stayed at the Olive last year as well, and hopefully we can in 2025!

Salty Olive Heaven

Best location, hosts, house. Quiet and friendly area. Convenient to the Big Store and our favorite Hardheads tiki bar. I hope we can rent the Salty Olive next year😊

Great sister weekend

Easy access to beach and community. Extra large lot plenty of space and great breezes.very comfortable home. We rented a golf cart which made the beach access much easier

Crystal Beach Crab Festival

We had a great time. Recommend going during the Crab Festival. Friday night was wonderful there. Breeze blowing and comfortable temperatures. Saturday night was rained out. BUMMER! Only problem with house was hot water heater had to be replaced. It was done asap, but we still had two nights of cool showers and cold baths. Very convenient to beach. Beaches do not even compare to Alabama beaches, but storms had deposited a lot of seaweed on beach. You can drive on beach. Actually saw an ice cream truck there! We will probably be going back next year! Ferry to Galveston is recommended. We had a short visit in Galveston. Wish we could have had time to see more.

Great Summer Vacation Spot!

The house was exactly what we expected. Very well kept property. The location is great for a short walk to the beach every morning. Crystal Beach will forever be one of my favorite vacation locations and we will very likely book the Salty Olive again!

Best Crytal Beach vacation so far.

We have spent our vacation at Crystal beach 5 times now and this has been the BEST stay. The Salty Olive was FANTASTIC, close to the beach, well-stocked with anything you could need. We had grandkids and great-grandkids with us and everyone loved the house. Will definitely return for future stays.

Great time

We just recently stayed at the salty olive and it was perfect. The kids had a blast and so did the adults. Short walk to the beach. Limited view of the beach but you can still hear it from the balcony at night and that’s all we cared about! Thanks for a great time, and great memories for our family!

Wonderful get away for our daughters birthday!

We had a wonderful stay at the Salty Olive. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The host stayed in contact with us to make sure all our needs were met! And the gate on the porch was very helpful to help contain our sweet pups. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!

Simple, clean & close to the Beach

Great memories & our communications with the owners was easy & direct. Very good experience overall. Memorial Day is a hectic time to try & do Crystal Beach, but the Salty Olive was not hectic & it allowed us a great chance to get sun, sand, salt water, play games with our family, and watch everyone else put on firework shows for us at night- without us having to do any work at all!

Amazing Trip!

Owner was super friendly and easy to reach! Home was large and roomy for 5 kids and had alot of extras. Super close to the beach and other amenities close by. Will definitely stay again!

Convenient, Great Location, Excellent Stay!

The property was clean, well furnished and perfect for our stay. We utilized all of the amenities and found everything in perfect working order. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck. The property was a short walk to the beach and convenient for quick trips to the grocery store.

Fantastic

We had an awesome family vacation here over spring break. Brought the whole family ages 3months- 81years, including our dog, and everyone had a blast. House was clean and spacious, kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to cook, and perfect location within walking distance to the beach.

Beach interlude

The home is comfortable with an open floor plan and space for kids to play. We particularly enjoyed the front porch and the fact that there were no houses close by on two sides of the house. It is a short walk to the beach, which was crowded when we were there on a weekend in October.
