House was beautiful!!! Great view of bay due to empty lots - would be obstructed if there were houses on the lots next to us. Very Quiet area which was perfect! Within driving distance to beach stores and restaurants. Host was available via text promptly! Just a couple of things that would have helped with our stay - more garbage bags- left 2 bags had to buy more- 2 paper towel rolls, no cleaning spray for kitchen counter tops and 2 dishwasher pods. We stayed for 7 days for 10 people. With that being said we definitely would stay there again!!!

Everything was great for our stay. We were there during a cold snap and they were great to bring us extra heaters and check on the heater when we said it wasn't working on one of the floors. They took care of anything right away. Everyone having their own space/bathroom was the biggest plus.

The water front was great for grandkids swimming and fishing, but watch out for jellyfish. We rented kayaks and it was a great place for that. House space was good for family to join us for some meals and beach is very close by. We had 11 and each family had plenty of private space

The house was awesome. Bathroom for each bedroom was great. Beautiful view of the bay. All my questions were answered right away. Would have loved more towels, washcloths, and hand towels. But there is a washer and dryer so we did fine. Was clean and decorated nice. We just loved our time here. Thank you.

Beautiful house and nice view. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. Great location. Not too far from restaurants and stores. Neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Had a great time and would definitely come back!

All Around Fantastic

If you're looking for a place with a beautiful view, yet not right smack in the middle of chaos this is the ideal location. You're close enough to everything, yet far away enough to feel like you're in your own private oasis. We had 12 people in our party ranging from 5-71 years old. The house was perfect for everyone. There was enough space for the kids to play and enough room in the house for everyone to unwind. The kitchen has just about anything you could possibly need to cook or bake. There are plenty of towels, no beach towels though so bring some of those with you. Each twin bed has two pillows and the others have four. There is a built in camping style grill, it works great we were able to grill 11 hamburgers on it at one time. All of the twin beds in the bunk room have their own USB charging outlets and lights. The view from the back deck at sunset is beautiful. My teenage daughter asked me to add that this is a great location for kids, and it's set up perfectly.

Beautiful, Spacious and Clean

Wow! This place exceeded my expectations! A great place to house multiple families! Every room had their own bathroom! A tucked away gem! Beautiful home with a lot of space. My only complaint would be that they only provided one pack and play and with a home that big you are bound to need more with multiple families. I reached out hoping that they would be willing to invest in another one but they didn’t. So we had to bring several even though we only needed them for one night as we were going on a cruise the remaining week.

Spacious and clean

Our group of four families stayed for a dance competition on the island. The home was immaculate. Everyone had their own bathrooms, plenty of beds for everyone and lots of space to spread out. The neighborhood is quiet and while it feels far from everything, was never really more than 10-15 mins from where we needed to be. We liked being away from the craziness of seawall and crowds. Plenty of parking and room for “stuff”. Would definitely stay again!

Overall good experience

Place was nice and in a nice secluded area. Easy drive to moody gardens and the pier. The place had one less bed than advertised but still had plenty of room. The washing machine didn’t work so clean towels were short on the last day and don’t expect decent internet as it’s just a mobile hotspot. Overall the stay was good and I would book again in the future.

Wonderful house

We enjoyed our one day stay before our cruise. The home is absolutely beautiful! It’s huge all five bedrooms had a bathroom. We would definitely stay again. Russell’s the host communication was great.

Family vacation

Egrets nest was the perfect home for our family to stay while on vacation. The house was very clean. Each room had its own bathroom which was very nice with more than one family staying. There are not many homes in the community that are occupied therefore it was very quiet. The view was beautiful and we actually saw dolphins one morning. There is also a pubic beach less than 5 minutes away I would highly recommended this property
