Located in the heart of the family-friendly community of Sea Isle, this attractively outfitted beach cottage welcomes you with its volume ceilings and open floor plan, coastal colored decor and paint, and comfortable new furnishings. The fun lower patio with bar area, 2 huge picnic tables, porch swing, bbq grill and outdoor shower offer you great alfresco dining opportunities and a wonderful spot for enjoying those sea breezes!

It's easy to stay with us and secure too! Access the home electronically at 4pm on the date of your arrival with your unique lock code that we specifically give only to you via text and email. Your code is live from 4pm on your arrival date until 11am on the date of your departure.
The Neighborhood:
Sea Isle is a beautiful community, located about 12 miles from Galveston's seawall, often referenced as the West End. It has that laid back beach flavor perfect for your getaway. One of the popular neighborhood hot spots is the West End Restaurant & Marina which frequently offers live music, plenty of tvs airing different sporting events/games, good food, and tasty cold beverages. There is also access to the public beaches (3), boat ramp, marina, park, basketball courts, seasonal swimming pool (Sea Isle POA charges $100/week for amenity pass, available from the office during normal business hours, with advanced notice by 979's staff, Memorial Day through Labor Day, subject to change) and tennis courts, so guests get an opportunity to experience the benefits of both the Gulf and Bay sides of the island.
The Sea Isle community offers a small convenience store by the Marina, Sea Isle Supermarket, located on Termini-San Luis Pass at Nueces Drive. Heading back towards Galveston and just before Jamaica Beach is a Chevron convenience store, Seven Seas Grocery if you need extra items or forgot something while in town. Also, you'll find in Jamaica Beach, West Grill & Pizzeria, Buck’s West, Shrimp & Stuff Food Truck then Dollar General, Waterman’s Restaurant, Hummel’s Convenience Store & Deli, Mario’s Pizza, Woody’s Bar, Lucky Way Food, Gas & Liquor Store, Seahorse Grill and Jack’s Pub before you get to Galveston's seawall.

Bring Fido(s)! We welcome your furry friends (aka family members). Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed at this home, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee of $100 per dog per stay.
WIFI/TV SERVICE:
Our properties include WIFI/Internet and TV service for your streaming services. Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!
979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:
All 979 rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - and good news, No Security Deposit Required!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
When booking direct with 979, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations. After 24 hours, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.
Reservations made on 3rd party channels/OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, Hopper etc may be subject to terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. When booking through a 3rd party channel, the cancellation policy you agreed to at the time of booking is the cancellation policy on your reservation.

Great stay all around. House was super cute, clean, and well stocked for our stay. Lots of communcation from the host so we knew exactly what to expect. Would absolutely stay here again!

A perfect place to stay!!
Being from Lubbock, when we drove up and saw the Texas Tech tile over garage we knew we were home!! Very clean, plenty of room, great amenities, and just about perfect in every way! We definitely would stay here again

We had such a nice weekend stay. There was a lot of yard space for the kids to run around. It was such a nice house to stay at and very comfortable.

Very relaxing
We loved ..loved it! Very nice rental. Only downside is it didn't have a small table to eat at and the back bunk bed room was hot at night. Overall we enjoyed our stay and can't wait to book again!

This house was great! Very spacious. The house was pretty clean. It did have some chip crumbs left behind in the kitchen and the main bedroom. I got the vacuum and just cleaned up. The pool down stairs was a major hit for my children but there were no pool towels. Thankfully I had brought some of my own because I just didn’t know what to expect. Same for trash bags because I saw someone else in a review say there was only the one trash bag and that was correct. We only had one major issue. There was no WiFi for the entire 4 days even after we called several times and were told it would be fixed it never was. There was no tv and we never got to use the movie room because of this. They did say they would credit me 75. ( still waiting for that) But no wifi can be a major issue when people need to check work emails or look for things to do on their phones. We couldn’t get much to load. I would stay here again because it was a really nice house and my children loved the pool right downstairs.
