An adventure to remember. Beryl was on her way, but she was supposed to be a tropical storm when she arrived, so we risked it and went to Galveston anyway.
Let me say this upfront, I would highly recommend staying here.
We arrived at this gorgeous house and the family was really excited for our stay. Inside was exactly as pictured and all of the sleeping rooms were comfy and cozy. We were across the road from the beach and had great beach views. Plenty of beach access for vehicles nearby too.
This area is further down west Galveston island, so a little remote from the "Tourist" areas. There's also a restaurant called Waterman's nearby which my family loves.
We ended up only staying 2 nights because we lost power, but management took care of us and we all left a little bittersweet. We really wanted to stay and enjoy the beach life for a bit.
Another note: The previous occupants had a lot of trash in the bin and outside the bin, we notified management and they sent a crew to come and remove it before Beryl blew it all over the place. GREAT responsiveness.
