¡Aprovechar! ¡Un nuevo trabajo nos requería mudarnos y ahora nuestro hogar está disponible para usted! Impresionantes vistas del océano desde el interior y la cubierta frontal. Disfrute de sus días en la playa, un simple paseo cruzando la calle.

¡También estamos ubicados al lado de una tienda de comestibles y un restaurante! Todas las comodidades que necesita para unas excelentes vacaciones con distancias medidas en pies en lugar de millas.

Si desea unas vacaciones de ensueño, Moody Gardens y el parque acuático se encuentran a 10 minutos en coche del océano. Justo después de eso, disfrute de todo lo que Galveston tiene para ofrecer, restaurantes, museos, presentaciones en vivo, tours, compras y un enorme malecón. The host was very communicative and didn't require many clean-up tasks. I was worried that not being directly on the ocean front would be a major downside but you could still see and hear it anytime you wanted. You can drive right to the beach and park for free with all your stuff. The host had beach chairs, towels, boogie boards - pretty much everything you need for a nice relaxing beach day. I would stay there again!

The Skipper beach house is a very nice “Just the right size” place. My family and I truly loved the location, size, and cleanliness of the beach house! Just a short walk to the beach! So nice to have everything we needed in the kitchen, and bathrooms! Bedrooms are nice, and mattresses are comfy! Will rent again next vacation!

Anniversary Trip

We stayed at the Skipper for our 40th anniversary. The house was very nice, clean and comfortable. You could see the beach and ocean while sitting outside or inside which were great. The host kept in contact making sure we had everything we needed. The house is great for a couple to stay or a small family. We really enjoyed our stay here

Great place to stay!

Everything was as advertised & very clean. We really enjoyed our 6 night stay and Maria and Paul were very outstanding in getting us checked in and out and dealing with a couple of problems. Door electronic lock failed and locked us out. Backup for that. I booked us short a day and they handled that.Place is really nice inside and out. If I have any complaints at all it is with the bed. Too hard. Sara really hated it. We only tried the one in the master.Lots of extra we hadn't counted on and a great view from the deck. We will be going back.

Peaceful and private

This adorable cottage has everything you’ll need for a fun and relaxing stay at the shore. The charming decor, well-equipped kitchen and excellent communication with the owners made our stay comfortable and worry-free. The neighborhood is quiet but not too far away from all the attractions of the area. I’d come back in a heartbeat!

Perfect!

The property was so clean. We had everything we needed. There is a restaurant (Nate’s) and a grocery store (Seven Seas) within walking distance. That was really nice for those days we didn’t want to drive down Seawall. The hosts had beach towels and beach chairs available. It also has a very nice washer and dryer. It was so nice to be able to sit out front every day and see the ocean. I highly recommend this property!

Close to the Beach

Awesome Jamaica Beach Retreat

Our stay at The Skipper was nothing less than awesome! The location is away from the congestion of Galveston but close enough for easy access. The home itself was perfect for my wife and I but could easily handle two more adults. It is well equipped and is furnished with very up to date furniture and appliances. And it is kept SPOTLESS! My wife and I have stayed in a few rentals in the past couple of years and while they were all clean, The Skipper was truly spotless. We were most impressed. The view off the front deck/porch is great. The beach and ocean front is clearly visible and very easily accessible. And it is quiet. We spent quite a bit of time on the front deck just relaxing - watched the full moon rise and heard nothing but a few gulls and the music of the ocean. Fantastic! A couple of other notes. The hosts, Paul and Maria, include a multi-page document which outlines all of the information you need when staying...wifi information, local restaurant and shopping info, different paths to the beach, local beach regulations, and so on. It was extremely helpful. Also, they were very quick to respond to the two questions we had...responded within the hour on a Sunday! Paul and Maria, thanks for a great stay and count on us making a return trip!

Cozy beach house with a view

Our week at The Skipper was just what we wanted. A nice, clean and cozy house, close to the water and a deck with a view. Just a quick walk from the second row to the beach for the sunrise, mornings on the deck enjoying the sights and sounds, again an easy walk to spend the day on the private beach and evenings enjoying the area. The house was clean & stocked with plenty of the household items needed for our stay. A variety of beach items were also available for our use.The neighborhood is close to a grocery and restaurants and everyone living/staying were very friendly.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful weekend at the Gulf Palms even though it rained. There were games to play and lot of choices on the Roku. The kitchen was well stocked and provided all the tools we needed for several meals that we prepared. When the sun came out we were so close to the beach and enjoyed fishing and splashing in the waves. My favorite part of the trip was sitting on the porch enjoying the view and sound of the waves.
