The house was amazing, plenty of room for all of the family members that stayed with us for our son's College Graduation. Only issues we had was the Coffee pot had the old grounds in it from the previous guests and the floors need to be repaired. In a few spots we would step and have to pick up a piece of the flooring that snapped off in a small splinter. There were no closets, so I would recommend hooks of some kind on the walls for guests to hang clothes that need to stay wrinkle free.Positives and reasons to stay include the numerous beds that were all very comfortable, plenty of bathrooms for guests, the outdoor shower to rinse off in before coming into the home from the beach(major plus), the game room was cool but we could not find the darts or fuzzball ball. The pool was perfect and the deck amazing. Best of all you can see the beach from the porches and you can walk to the beach in under 5 minutes even if you are hualling large amounts of beach gear with you.

The Floors are peeling and several people hurt themselves on it. Not a single extra sheet or blanket in the house. No beach towels or chairs included. If staying with small children the spiral staircase inside is concerning. No pool gate by the pool either. Lots of flies on property. We had some cockroaches and ants on the counter around our food and in bathrooms. There are beds for 30 people,However there is only one sectional in the living room and the kitchen table seats eight. The kitchen did not accommodate our large group well. Definitely needed organization in the kitchen cupboards. Needs lots of updates. The AC works well. Kids loved game room, even though the bathroom was dirty. Really enjoyed the outside shower. The private access to the Beach was great.

The pictures on-line were inviting and the pool was a huge factor in the decision of booking this property. However the pool was not clean and cloudy. They did come out the next day but it didn’t look clear until the end of our last day. Unfortunately, we don’t enjoy that part of the property. Flies were everywhere and didn’t understand why there were so many flies in the house. Kitchen needs painting and the drawers need to be more organized. Everything was out of sort.

It was a great house- plenty of beds, fairly clean, responsive hosts. Kitchen space on main floor was tight for our group size. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the pool. Overall, it was a good, quick stay.

This place is definitely a rental and well loved but overall great place to stay and worked well for our group.Best parts were definitely the size of the house/number of beds and ease of getting to the beach. The beach was great and not crowded at all. The house had lots of space and the separate game room was a crowd pleaser for the kids. We also loved being on the end of the street where the kids could run around and it felt safe.A few minor complaints- we arrived on a Thursday for a weekend stay and the outdoor trash cans were already full (attracting lots of flys and birds). The pool was pretty green but was served on Friday and by Saturday evening looked much better! Lots of sand in the pool from previous users. If you are staying with little kids be aware of spiral staircase with wide openings in the railing. Also if staying with little, be aware there is no gate on the pool deck and some of the house deck railing seemed a little unsteady.STILL…. I would stay here again with multiple families because the pros outweighed the cons.

Not exactly as expected - bad floors and kitchen

We were thankful to stay here as not many homes accommodate larger church groups. Communication with the owner was fine. Unfortunately we had a lot of other problems. From the start, toilets had the “this has been sanitized” paper seals on them, several still had hair on them. The house was not what we consider clean. The outdoor areas were great but inside, not so much. The house is not what it appears to be in the pictures. The floors are in horrible shape, with many boards completely coming up, cracking, splitting, or just loosely siting where they were, completely unsecured to the ground. A huge fall and trip hazard. We had several grown adults trip and fall on these boards. I would not recommend this to anyone with any kind of mobility issues, young children, or elderly individuals.The faucets in some of the bathrooms were completely loose and felt like they were going to come right out when you turned on the water. We brought many prepared dishes to simply bake in the oven. Unfortunately, the oven would fill the house with black smoke. We had to cook all of it on the stove and it delayed every meal. A technician came to clean it, but it still didn’t heat up all the way, so much of our food got wasted due to it not being able to cook through. No instructions were given about unlocking the game room, so we had no idea we had access to it until we were checking out and tried the key

This home was great for our family gathering of 9 adults and 10 kids from ages 2-15 years old. We really appreciated the ramp going up to the main floor because one adult was celebrating his 102 birthday!The air conditioning worked very well, beds were comfortable enough and the walking path to the beach was very convenient.The pool was very nice to have as an alternative to the beach.Previous comments about the flooring from other guests were not exaggerated. The sliding glass door on the main level was almost impossible to open (off track) so luckily we were able to still enjoy the deck from the main door.The home needs new garbage can replacements because two cans had no lids, which caused a fly problem both inside the home and out. Luckily, the home had a fly swatter!Having a ramp is such a help for physically challenged people. Thank you. The home though needs bars by the commode and showers

2 people hurt by floors peeling up, bathroom in game room wasnt touched at all by cleaning staff, pool guy came and interrupted our stay without asking if we even mind , not 1 spare sheet or blanket in house. Soft spots in floor as well. Needs lots of TLC. The upside was parking, location, comfortable beds. But 2 top bunks were not very stable.

Nice place. Lower air didn't work, but there was a window unit that circulated the air. Nice pool area and game room. There were a couple of soft places in the floor that were concerning but overall nice place.

Beach fun

This property is great. It’s close to the beach and you can get into Galveston. Super easy property has lots of options and the pool was nice. We had our whole family from all over the country and everyone loved it and is looking forward to coming back to the same property.

50th anniversary

We stayed one night while we waited to board a cruise the following day. House was huge and spacious. Our party of 22 were very comfortable. My only issue is we are use to getting ia code and check in instructions 24 hours in advance. Flight delays and part of our party was already in the area waiting to check in.Thankfully I was able to have someone login to my VRBO to get that login info while I was in the air without cell service. Other than that Josie was perfect. We got check out info before check in info.

Comfortable Spot, Private and Short Walk to Beach

This place has plenty of bed and deck space for a big group, including a pool. (We didn't use the pool, but might have in different weather.) It was a comfortable stay. We left some items when we checked out and they were very responsive and able to get them back to us quickly. Highly recommend.

Perfect location

We had a wonderful time. The house overall had plenty of room for us to play games, eat meals, and sleep comfortably. We loved the view from the house.It was a very pleasant stay!

House is in horrible condition and no response/help from mgmt & maintenance

We had many issues and no response from mgnt after many requests. Major leak in the kitchen sink. The house wasn't ready when we arrived at check in time. The floors on the 2nd level were rotted,broken and soft spots in the floor that were dangerous.
