Perfect house for a getaway

We arrived to the home and had a few questions and reached out, our questions were promptly answered and addressed.The house was just as pictured. The kitchen contained the necessities to cook and enjoy our meals. The living space was comfortable and we spent our downtime enjoying the tv. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. We walked to the beach and it is close by. Overall, enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. We’d stay here again.

We loved it. This is our happy place!

For the price and location to the beach it was perfect! The kitchen comes well stocked with some spices, pots, pans, dishes and lots of silverware. We brought our own door and left it out on the counter, which brought ants. I got some liquid ant bait and that fixed that problem! I left some in the junk for the next person too! I loved the extra trash bag, full roll of paper towels, sponge and dish cleaning supplies. There was one extra TP roll, we ended up buying more at the dollar store. Breakfast and lunches on the patio were a dream come true. The remote was hard to figure out. Use the GUIDE button! LoL The mattress on the pill lit sofa was nice. The furniture was clean and comfy The bed sleeps like a dream. I loved the bedroom.so much! There's even some laundry pods included, which is so nice to pack home clean clothes! The bathroom floor can get wear from the shower but it wasn't a deal breaker. The large walk in shower was heavenly as well as the large soaking tub. Don't forget your bubble bath!! There must be a tankless water heater because we never ran out of hot water! Even showering and tub running at the same time. The downstairs area is so nice with nice toys to take to the beach. Some may need to be replaced due to wear and age but my girls loved hauling them to the beach for sand digging. The shower downstairs is so convenient. It even has got water to it!! The handle comes off but is easy to put back on. I paid for late check out as I hated to end our trip.

Peaceful & Secluded Stay

This was the 1st year we didn’t have a big family gathering in Galveston 4th of July week, which was strange for me at 1st but soooooo happy we did it. It was only a party of 2 (me & my boyfriend), and we wanted to be away from the city (& people) and mission accomplished, WE LOVED IT HERE! 😊 We’ve stayed in this same area before (a street over) and I was VERY excited we found this property for our stay. The house itself was adorable, loved the whole style inside & outside (especially loved the bathroom shower & copper tub), you have private beach access with this area, we only left the house & beach a couple times within the week and that was to go to the grocery store and then do some shopping at The Strand, but that’s it. We were majority of the time at the beach daily, hanging out on the 2nd floor wrap around patio, or just in the house relaxing watching some tv in the living room. We look forward to staying here again soon.

Leider nicht empfehlenswert!

Die Bilder wurde sehr positiv aufgenommen. Die Bilder trügen etwas. Die Inneneinrichtung im Haus ist gut, aber wesentlicher kleiner als auf den Fotos. Es gibt wenig Geschirr und trotz des Kühlschranks werden keine Eiswürfel zur Verfügung gestellt. Ein Infobuch über die Gegend und die Wohnung wäre auch nett und hilfreich gewesen. So kennen wir das aus den anderen Häusern. Dank des vorherigen Kommentars haben wir von der Problematik mit den Kakerlaken erfahren und auch welche gesehen. Im Haus war sonst soweit alles in Ordnung. Unterhalb des Hauses war alles verrottet und vergammelt. Check in mit dem Code hat leider nicht funktioniert. Wir hatten Probleme mit dem öffnen der Tür durch den Code und der Gasgrill ist verrottet und wurde mit Kohle benutzt . Auf dem anderen Grill/Smoker waren noch Essensreste .Man hat uns weder ernst genommen noch geholfen. Obwohl jemand bei uns immer mal wieder am Haus war. Was auch nicht abgesprochen war und sich seltsam anfühlte. Die Antwort waren Standardantworten und es wurde final nicht geklärt. Leider nicht empfehlenswert!

Very modern

We loved the house. The vaulted ceilings made the 750 sq ft seem very much larger. Large bath, awesome shower, very comfortable bed, washer & dryer, modern living room furniture and kitchen. Loved it! Only 300 steps to the beach 😊

Cockroaches! Stay away!

We initially liked the house but we started seeing big cockroaches in the from the first night. We killed around 10 of them and asked the landlord to send pest control but the landlord said that they can't do anything about it. Our kids couldn't sleep well at night. It was very frustrating. Other than this the place is old but renovated pretty good. It's good enough for a family of 4 people. Definitely needs pest control!

Perfect Beach getaway for small families

The house was perfect for a family of four. The kids (2) slept on the pull out bed in the front room and we took the main bed. It was clean, and made to feel as if you were near the sea. We hope to go back to this location when we return to Galveston. Perfect location near the ocean too.

Great get away

This was a wonderful, peaceful get away for me and my husband. Home was very clean, bed was comfy but could have had a couple more pillows. Great outdoor space and you can view the Golf from the deck. We would definitely stay here again!

Adorable Cottage

What a great stay! This cottage fit our needs perfectly! It was probably the most well stocked rental we have ever stayed in. It was very clean and so nicely decorated and up to date. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to utilize the pool, but what a neat spot. We met Bianca the first day and she was so kind and welcoming. We knew she was available if we needed anything, but there was not one single thing we needed during our stay. Thank you so much for sharing your cottage. I wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to return next year.

Very nice house 1 block from a great beach. Very clean. Beach was great. Private but not too far from town. (Stores/restaurants) outdoor shower to get all the sand off. Full kitchen. Modern, clean house.

Cute house close to the beach

The house is very cute, well decorated, and a short walk to the beach. You have everything you need. Nice that there is a gas grill too. The beach wasn’t crowded which was great.

Great time at a quiet beach

The house was just a few minutes walk from the beach, and far enough away from the city where it was nice and quiet. Perfect for people that may not want the more crowded beaches you see closer to Galveston proper. This house is definitely ideal for smaller parties like couples or families with small kids. We had 2 adults and 1 small child and it felt like a perfect fit for us, anything more than maybe one additional child may start to feel a bit crowded.
