The location is great and the house is decorated beautifully. The floors need work though. There's a board fraying in the doorway of the middle room that isn't very safe for bare feet and kids. We used one of their supplied thick blankets to cover it up. The pink king size bed was unusable because of how squeaky it is. We got a three bedroom so we could all have separate rooms but there was no way two people could sleep in that bed without waking each other up. On our last night the carbon monoxide detector started chirping at 11:30pm and woke us up. Thankfully the kids kept sleeping. We tried to remove the battery to the smoke detector because we thought it was the smoke detector on the ceiling but it never stopped chirping. I called the property management company and they apologized but said they couldn't fix it until the morning. Thankfully we realized shortly thereafter that the carbon monoxide detector was on the wall right near the smoke detector and was actually the problem battery. We got that resolved, but I was disappointed that the company brushed it off even though I stated that we took the battery out and it still kept chirping. I think trying to troubleshoot over the phone would've been a better option to help the customer be able to sleep. My husband is tall and not afraid to stand on the stools there, but I imagine that someone else wouldn't have been able to take out the batteries due to the high ceilings. It was an enjoyable stay, with flaws.
