Villa Osservatorio para hasta 11 con piscina 15 minutos a San Gimignano

Villa independiente con 6 habitaciones para hasta 11 personas. Para grupos más pequeños de hasta 6 huéspedes, puede alquilar la mitad de la villa.
El camino a la casa está pavimentado e iluminado todo el camino y, aunque estamos en una zona súper tranquila y privada, la propiedad no está aislada, con dos restaurantes ubicados a 2 minutos en coche.
La finca consta de la villa de alquiler y nuestra casa que se encuentra a unos 10 metros de distancia donde vivimos con nuestro perro y gato dóciles. Trabajamos largas horas en la ciudad y cuando estamos en casa, valoramos mucho la privacidad de nuestros huéspedes y utilizamos una puerta de entrada independiente.
Estamos inmersos en jardines bien cuidados con miríadas de plantas ornamentales y estatuas de terracota diseminadas por todo el terreno. Hay una barbacoa / parrilla de madera y una gran piscina (13m x 6m). ¡Agregamos dos hermosas terrazas boscosas equipadas con cómodos sofás y sillas para sumergirse en la relajación total!
Las comodidades incluyen, conexión Wifi (satélite) adecuada para revisar correos electrónicos, instalaciones de lavandería (a pedido y operado por la mucama), aire acondicionado a pedido (generalmente no se necesita agradablemente fresco en el verano).

Entrada a nivel del suelo a la sala de estar, cocina con puertas a una gran logia cubierta con una gran mesa y sillas. Dos habitaciones dobles y una sala de lectura, una de ellas tiene salida directa a una terraza con mesa y sillas. Dos baños con ducha. Loft al aire libre con dos camas individuales / unibles.
Acceso a nivel inferior a través de escaleras externas: entrada a una segunda sala de estar, cocina con puertas a una logia cubierta equipada con mesa y sillas. Dos habitaciones dobles con acceso directo al jardín y una habitación individual. Dos baños con ducha.
Máximo 2 perros de tamaño pequeño son bienvenidos.
Distancia de conducción:
Pisa 1 hora y Florencia 1 hora 15 minutos. El aeropuerto de Bolonia Borgo Panigale también es una alternativa válida ubicada a 2 horas y 30 minutos en coche de la autopista.
La ciudad más cercana con tiendas es Gambassi Terme, a menos de 10 minutos. San Gimignano y Volterra son fácilmente accesibles en 20 minutos en carreteras panorámicas. Florencia y Siena son excelentes destinos para un día completo en tren o en coche en poco más de 1 hora de viaje.

Our group of 5 women celebrating a number of life milestones had a wonderful week. Check in was easy and the villa was amazing. Our only issue through the entire week was that the battery in the gate fob died and we were momentarily trapped inside with a pending golf tee time! The owner quickly realized our issue and gave us his fob and we were on our way within a few moments. Everything was wonderful and as expected!

We have enjoyed our stay tremendously. The house is situated on a high hill, therefore quite cool at night. The owners and caretakers are wonderful. The interior and exterior is done in a traditional and elegant style. All rooms were very clean. The are mosquito screens on all windows. Also shutters. Airconditioning available but even in mid August hardly necessary. Pool is large, clean and very nice. several wonderful and cosy seating area's . We enjoyed the nearby towns of San Gimignano, Volterra and of course the Paleo in Sienna. We would love to come again. What we missed? Hardly anything. The kitchens could use a true oven. But with all the wonderful nearby restaurants, that is hardly and issue.

A stunning property. You really come to appreciate the Tuscan country side and it’s beauty. I come to this region every year and this by far was the best property I stayed. Attention to detail, cleanliness and peace of mind. The owners are wonderful people.

We had a great stay. The pool and gardens were lovely and it was very peaceful. Even in the very hot July weather it stayed cool and breezy as it is high up. Lots of nice villages and towns to visit 10-20mins drive away.

It was an amazing stay. The grounds were wonderful. Our grands loved the pool area and with so many areas to relax. The only downside was the kitchen was SO small. I guess Americans use our kitchen space more and no oven made it difficult to plan meals in. Overall was great.

This property is absolutely gorgeous and a perfect location to visit all the sites in Tuscany. The property manager was wonderful and even made reservations for us at a wonderful local restaurant the evening we arrived. She helped us find a local guide for Florence and someone to give us a cooking lesson. The owners live on the property but we rarely saw them. Amazing place and great location. I highly recommend it.

Property is beautiful postcard Toscana villa. We loved it and enjoyed our stay, especially lavish green garden, many sitting areas, pool and bbq meals we made. I would only recommend some Wifi Improvements but everything else was just superb, including nice touch from the owners where they provided some bread, cold cuts, toscany sausages, milk and eggs as a welcome gift. Nice touch!!!

We were two families with 6 children ranging in age from 5 - 16. We used both apartments, and there was plenty of space for all. The position was good, although like most places in Tuscany it does require you to drive everywhere. The Villa grounds were the highlight for us. The pool and gardens were beautiful, and there were so many outside areas to relax. Plenty of room to spread out if needed! The apartments are charming inside. The kitchens are fairly basic, but fine. The cutlery and glassware is a little lacking, and updating this would improve the experience. We had a chef come and cook a dinner for us one night, which was absolutely fantastic. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay here and wish we were back there now! Some printed materials on the surrounding area would have been appreciated -with details of supermarkets, restaurants, wineries, banks and any other local tips. Thank you to our English speaking host Cheti who managed all the communications.

We had an amazing time at this villa. Gorgeous setting with an amazing pool. Plenty of space to spend afternoons outside . The house has two stories , one upstairs with 2 full bedrooms and a loft with 2 small beds . A full kitchen and 2 full bathrooms . An amazing terrace with a large table to have meals outside. Downstairs is the other part of the house with 3 full bedrooms and bathrooms as well . This one has a bigger kitchen and also an amazing outdoor seating space overlooking the backyard. The house is in a very private area but a 10 minute drive from the closest town where you can find a supermarket . It’s necessary to have a car . We visited other towns during our stay . Pienza, Volterra, Siena , Florence and San Gimingnano. The family that owns the villa lives right next to this villa . They are very kind and willing to help you with any questions. If you don’t speak Italian , you can communicate with Cheti via what’s up . She was very helpful with everything we needed during our stay. We really love this place and will try to come back one day ! Note : the use of AC is per request . Extra charged if you need to use the AC all the time. They also offer to wash your clothes . (We used both ) Thank you for letting us stay and enjoy your gorgeous place! The lehnhoff family!

We had a lovely stay here - 10 of us, ranging in age from 21 to 84 years old! There was plenty of space, beautifully furnished indoors, very comfortable and clean, gorgeous well kept grounds and pool, with lovely seating areas. The location is great - tucked away in beautiful wooded hills but with a pretty good little supermarket at nearby Montaione, some decent local restaurants, and San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence and Sienna all easily reachable. Neva, the owner/landlady was very kind and helpful although she doesn't speak any English. She made us a delicious supper the first evening and gave us some home produce [fabulous tomatoes] and a tuscan salami which was lovely. Daniella was a very efficient manager and any queries were swiftly answered and dealt with. I would have given the Villa 5 stars, but felt there were 2 things that could be improved on to make it perfect: 1] there was no oven [or proper grill], and although we did know this before we booked we feel it is a significant drawback in what is otherwise an excellently equipped villa. It was impossible to warm croissants for breakfast, bake a lasagne, or heat pizzas! [A microwave or hob just can't do the same job]. 2] A set of House notes in English would really help - just to explain about the recycling, the linen changes, where things were [we couldn't initially find the washing machine!], local shops etc - this would be easy to do and would be very helpful. Overall though we did have a great holiday and would recommend this villa to anyone.

Our stay in the villa exceeded all expectations that we had and we are already looking at available dates to book in 2020. Communication: timely, clear, very proactive and super useful GPS guidance that avoids ambiguity as you come off the main roads. Property manager is very personable, available for any questions over phone / and she also greeted us and provided a great tour of the property, answer questions, etc. Location: The villa is situated on the sizable piece of land which is then surrounded by woods. Beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside. We say a doe twice during our stay which was a very special moment for children. Facilities: Rooms are decorated tastefully, with traditional details, comfortable beds and amazing views . We were impressed by furniture dating from 17th century in excellent shape, and the confession room door which is built in a decorative wall. 2 TVs one on each level, excellent bathrooms with plenty of towels, paper, hand wash, etc Well equipped kitchen - we used it almost daily. There are two 'solariums' - partly shaded , where we had breakfasts , played cards, etc. The pool is very clean, sun beds brand new. Plenty of space for kids to run around and play. Most importantly, the host was the kindest lady we have ever met, she made us a dinner upon arrival and left a bottle of wine. Her and her husband live i the other house on the sam plot, however, we only seen them once during our stay, very respectful. We cannot recommend this property enough!

Wir haben ein sauberes und bezauberndes Haus mit grossem Umschwung und schönem Pool angetroffen. Der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt. Die Ruhe und das schöne Anwesen mit grossartigem Garten und verschiedenen Lauben und Logen erlaubt einen grossartigen Urlaub. Einzig das Einzelzimmer ohne Fenster war ein Reinfall. Wir haben ein kleines Lesezimmer mit genügend Fenstern in ein Schlafzimmer umfunktioniert. Das Einkaufen von Lebensmitteln und Getränken muss aufgrund der Anfahrtswege für eine solche grosse Familie sehr gut geplant werden. Dank zweier Kühlschränke in den beiden Küchen waren wir gut versorgt. Besten Dank den Eigentümern und Daniela für den tollen Aufenthalt. Besten Dank nochmals für den feinen Kuchen und den beiden Würsten, welche wir als Überraschung von der Eigentümerin erhalten haben. Das Objekt kann mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfohlen werden.

Unser Gesamteindruck war durchweg positiv. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 4 Ehepaaren, hatten das gesamte Haus gemietet und mehr als reichlich Platz. Besonders beeindruckt haben uns die vielen Sitzgruppen im Freien an unterschiedlichen Plätzen, so dass sich theoretisch jeder in eine andere Ecke hätte zurück ziehen könnte. Das Haus war mit vielen schönen alten Gegenständen eingerichtet. Wenn wir es richtig verstanden haben, eine Sammlerleidenschaft des Besitzers. Leider rochen einige davon etwas muffig, man hätte sie vielleicht vorher richtig auslüften sollen. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und der Rasen wurde täglich gewässert. Der Pool ist sehr sauber. Ein paar ganz kleine Kritikpunkte hatten wir jedoch. In einer Wohnung in der oberen Etage hat der Spülkasten nicht richtig funktioniert, blieb immer hängen. Und das Wassermischen in den Duschen war teils sehr schwierig, entweder es war zu heiß oder zu kalt. Da könnten eventuell hochwertigere Mischbatterien Abhilfe schaffen. Und eine Bitte an die Besitzer: wir hätten für 8 Erwachsene einen größeren Nudeltopf gebraucht, das wäre noch eine tolle Anschaffung fürs nächste Mal. Insgesamt ist das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für dieses Haus im Vergleich mit anderen Häusern in der Toskana mehr als fair und wir können das Objekt uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.
