Great property with wonderful hosts. The space is even better than advertised. Great location for a quiet and restful stay while being close to all the location and activities of Lancaster county. Thank you Christian and Ruthy for a great stay!

Happy Homestead

We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing environment and had some fun interaction with the animals. Ruthy is a wonderful hostess and even left fresh baked bread and butter for breakfast!

Peace and quiet in an incredibly well-appointed and modern living space that literally sparkled with cleanliness. We would definately stay here again and the host couldn't have been any more accomodating, kind and attentive. This place moves to the top of the list.

Stunning country tranquility

When we vacation in Lancaster this is our "Go To" place to stay! Beautiful setting, amazing accommodations, and conveniently close to everything. Ruthy and Christian are incredibly friendly, gracious, and generous. Highly recommend this property and these fine folks to anyone looking to spend time in Lancaster area

Absolutely Gorgeous!

We loved our stay here, the home is beautiful and immaculate. The views are amazing, wish we had more time to enjoy the outdoor area and firepit. I highly recommend this location. Ruthy checked on us regularly and was the best host.

Beautiful house

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was beautifully decorated with plenty of space and the sheets on the bed were fantastic. We loved the animals, my son enjoyed feeding the goats and collecting eggs from the chickens.

Cleanest stay we have ever had. Friendly hosts. Little details made this a very comfortable stay. My son loves the goats and chickens.

Immaculate, very clean and beautifully decorated home. Extemely comfortable (3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, very spacious)Very thoughtful hosts (best sourdough bread ever!), perfect grounds for kids to be outdoors and the plus are the chicken, goats and of course the dogs. Couldn't ask for more. Third year spending Thanksgiving and will keep up the tradition. Thanks Ruthy and family for your kindness.

The stay was wonderful!! The 3 bedrooms with master baths for each was perfect. The home and property were extremely clean and very well decorated. The home is in the country away from all the tourist traffic, but just minutes away from Sight and Sounds theater, restaurants, and other attractions. I've stayed in 10 or 12 VRBO homes over the years and Ruthy was the best host hands down. Our group is already talking about another trip!!

Wonderful stay

Our second time staying at Buena Hill Homestead. Extremely clean and cozy, and conveniently located near activities in Strasburg and Ronks. Ruthy is a very kind host. Definitely would stay here again next time we visit Lancaster county!

Way Beyond Expectations- the BEST!

Fantastic updated apartment with 3 king primary suites with attached full baths. One of the most beautiful views in all of Pennsylvania. Host was wonderful and gracious- we can’t wait to return!

Mothers Day weekend

What a beautiful stay in a most wonderful place! We enjoyed an long weekend away with just the girls…. This was our second stay with Ruthie and we can’t wait to return. Beautiful clean and everything you need for a peaceful refreshing time away filled with special memories!! Can’t wait to return!

Doesn't Get Any Better than This

This place is absolutely breathtaking—offering incredible views both inside and out. The house is immaculate, and the owners are the friendliest, most cordial, God-loving people you could hope to meet. We've stayed here several times, and it’s always our first choice when visiting Amish country. You certainly won’t be disappointed!

Second Thanksgiving celebration in this impeccable house. Perfect in every way, and the kids loved the animals! Gracious hosts, Ruthy's sourdough loaf a dream! Thanks for having us. We would love to come back next year!
