Garden City sits on the Utah side of Bear Lake at 5,900 ft, known as 'the Caribbean of the Rockies' for the lake's striking turquoise water. Summer is peak: Memorial Day through Labor Day, every weekend books out across the market. Winter brings world-class skiing at Beaver Mountain, snowmobiling, and quiet snowy retreats.

A car is required. The cabin is rural and most trips need driving.

• Ogden: 1 hr 45 min

• Logan: 50 min

• Boise, ID: 4 hr

• Jackson, WY: 3 hr



Parking at the home: room for multiple vehicles on the driveway and per HOA rules. Do not block neighbors or park on grass.



Other Things to Note:

• Heads-up on active road construction (through end of May 2026): The HOA is paving the road to the home. The road will remain open throughout, with brief closures of up to 10 minutes at most. A new culvert has also been installed on the route. It is safe to drive over, but please take it slow.

• No pets allowed at this property.

• No camper trailers on the property. Violators forfeit their full damage deposit.

• Strict 10 PM quiet hours per HOA rules. Please respect neighbors.

• Access to Ideal Beach Resort is included. There is a $150 replacement fee if the access card is not returned at check-out.

• This home is ideal for large groups, family reunions, and multi-family getaways.

• Winter visitors should be prepared for mountain driving conditions (snow tires or chains recommended December through March).

• The area is known for its outdoor recreation: boating, hiking, ATV riding, skiing, snowmobiling.

• Important: This home is NOT lakefront. The cabin sits in the Sweetwater neighborhood, about 1.9 miles (5-min drive) from Bear Lake. Lake access is via complimentary use of Ideal Beach Resort's private beach (included with your stay).
