The bedrooms are perfectly placed with sunrooms attached to two of the rooms with thoughtful amenities provided throughout the home. The coffee and tea pods for the keurig was a nice touch. I spent a few days working remotely, and the wifi was strong and the samsung monitors were a great addition. Boothbay harbor...

“Cottage 2 is a comfy, inviting little house full of charm. The location is convenient for travelers who enjoy town-jumping. Nearby Wiscasset, Damariscotta, and Boothbay will not disappoint. The infamous Red Eats to get your fill of Lobstah, a nice treat at Round Top ice cream too cool off, and the sweetest shops in Boothbay...everything at your fingertips. The nicest close to a wonderful day is returning to Cottage 2; well-appointed, cozy, and that a-a-a-h feeling of going home..”

“Map quest and google take you on unnecessary routes into the cabin. We got there in the dark and after being instructed to drive into the woods on dirt road we came into someones back yard. Noticed one small sign nailed to post pointing in "assumed" direction to go. No lights, very dark and even when we found the house no lights were left on or hey how about a solar night light over the door?. Need a welcome book too listing what's what and where inside items are located”

“Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay. Free access to kayaks was another nice amenity -- lots of coast to explore. The house is a little quirky (uneven floors and bathroom door is really a curtain),...

“Beautiful home that is a great proximity to Boothbay Harbor downtown. The pond is very nice but the water level was very low during our stay in March and there were no boats available as described in the listing. It is unclear whether this is something to note for all offseason travelers”

“This is a great place especially if you have dogs. The only advice I would give the management company is to leave directions to the transfer station or better yet take the trash for your guests at the end of their stay. Putting smelly trash in our car wasn’t great. All in all though, it was a great place for a family with dogs!”

“The almost permanent view of the lake was magnificent. Since the lake is west of the property, the sunsets are also wonderful. I even took one of the kayaks out to the Lighthouse. Even though it looks far away but it only took about 10 minutes of easy paddling. Great place for a peaceful vacation. Bar Harbour was close enough for quick day trip and then the Loop at Acadia Nat'l Park provided great panoramic views.”

“It was very difficult for me to be in the situation with no Internet and much too far to drive into town every time I needed it. I also didn’t realize that he didn’t supply linens and towels so well though the location was gorgeous those were too big problems for me I really don’t know if I mentioned that on the online booking but I was taken by surprise. The place was a little funky for my taste”

“We 3 adults enjoyed the quiet setting, the eagles in the trees above us (whoa!), the layout of the place, and more. Unfortunately, three areas are ready for updates: the only bathroom, the windows (which simply need a good cleaning, inside and out), and a few trees (because selective pruning, especially of deadwood, would make water views real). Otherwise, thumbs up--and thank you.”
