Beautiful Home in Quiet Wooded Area

Beautiful refreshing weekend away

This was a comfortable, clean and fun property with amazing views and close to all sorts of great hudson valley activities- hiking, west point, dining and bookshops.

Relaxing in The Glabin

We had a lovely time during our stay. The house was perfect, with all the amenities needed to have a relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend staying at The Glabin if you are in the area.

Visit to West Point

Rented this property to stay with my family to visit my son at West Point. I've rented VRBO properties plenty of times and this is the most well-appointed, homie property I've ever stayed in. Very nice property!

Outstanding place in all ways. Clean and spacious with top of the line appliances and decor. Plenty of space for kids inside and out Friendly manager. Will stay at again next time we’re in town.

We traveled with our two kids and highly recommend this lovely home, with spectacular views, and nice amenities. The home was very comfortable, kitchen was very nice, beds very comfortable. Easy and good communication with the owner. We would visit again.

Great location

House was beautifully furnished with lovely touches of art work and lovely succulent plants. The hot tub was a great touch, and we enjoyed it every morning. The children loved exploring the property. Thank you!

Secluded and beautiful

Thank you for sharing your amazing property. It is beautiful inside and out. We appreciated all the details from the kitchen amenities to the comfortable bed. The scenery and quiet backdrop on the property grounds was quite peaceful and there was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. We wish we would have planned a longer trip. Definitely a 5 star property!

Home away from home

We just really had such a relaxing time. My daughter said to me, I didn’t know we could feel at home and not be in our own home. A few unforeseen items not working but didn’t hinder our stay. Loved it all!

The house is great. Well designed. Top line appliances. Views wonderful. Only negative is a stretch of the access road that is hard dirt and loose stone. Keeps out the riff raff, I guess.

West Point Graduation

We stayed here for our son’s graduation from West Point. The house is about 20 minutes from the Thayer Gate Entrance. It’s across the Hudson over the Bear Mountain Bridge. The house was modern and clean. It was fully equipped with newer appliances. It has beautiful views in a quiet residential neighborhood. It accommodated our family perfectly. The host was very responsive and communicative. We had dinner at a really nice restaurant called Table 9 about eight minutes away. We would stay here again!

Glabin experience

The location was perfect for a weekend traveling for a football game at West Point. The property was nothing short of spectacular. Trails near by with fantastic scenery and views from every window. When we arrived, the hot tub was malfunctioning and that was intended to quickly (thanks for that one!) Highly highly recommend this property for peace, quiet, beauty, and location. We had a discussion while there amongst ourselves and decided the best thing about this place is: "everything."

The house is beautifully decorated and seems brand new. Peaceful setting. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Drive to West Point was about 20 minutes through wooded areas, just be aware of traffic on Friday evening at the bear mountain bridge entrance if you are trying to get back across the river. The last half mile to the house is steep rugged road but easy to get used to after a time or two driving on it. The peaceful setting is worth it once you get there!!

Beautiful, comfortable home with great views and everything we needed!

The home was spacious and beautifully situated on the side of the hill. We loved the large, fully equipped kitchen, cozy bed and couches (inside and out), the hot tub, beautiful master shower, gorgeous large windows, and airflow. Thank you!
