“Staying at Ballyvolane was like being in an Irish historical novel. It was amazing in every aspect: food, bed comfort, and especially the staff. They made us feel so welcome. We would recommend Ballyvolane to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in a beautiful manor house!”

“We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. “The house was beautiful, comfortable, and really well laid out. The internet/wifi was fast enough for streaming movies (just barely, but it was). We were grateful for the separate clothes washer and tumble dryer. Since we stayed for a month, Sarah included a weekly cleaning service, which was also very much appreciated. And of course, the nearby pub! We hope to stay here again in the future, and we recommend this home without hesitation.”
