  • Lazy Daze Lodge is a brand new luxury 4 bedroom cabin featuring its own home theater room with 9 foot theater screen and 6 reclining leather theater seats. The wide open great room features 25 feet from peak to floor with plenty of fixed glass to enjoy the view of the outdoors. End your day in Gatlinburg with a relaxing sauna in the cedar lined sauna room or perhaps grill out with your own stainless steel gas grill. 4 Bedroom, 4.5 baths, 3 Jacuzzi tubs, pool table, hot tub on the deck and plenty of space in the game room for kids or loft upstairs.

    Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

    Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

    We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

    This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. The property owners were great. They kept the lines of communication open throughout the entire experience. The cabin was very clean, spacious, and overall well worth the price. We will definitely use the property owners for our next visit.

Reviewer Comments: The Cabin was absolutely beautiful and everything was worked except the icemaker and the main floor bathroom faucet drips, other than that it was the best choice for our Christmas vacation away from home. Cozy and anytime I needed garbage pickup it was done within the hour. Great people and a beautiful scenery, we even had a black bear come and say hello. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook or bake. Even had a crockpot. I recommend this cabin for anyone who needs a getaway! Not disappointed in the least. But I would like to recommend a vacuum cleaner so the carpets could have been vacuumed.

Reviewer Comments: The first thing I appreciated about renting the cabin was the ease of check-in. A simple code sent via text to my phone. The cabin was more than we expected! The rustic wood floors and ceilings brought a sense of comfort and relaxation. We enjoyed a movie night in the theater, playing pool, and cooking meals in the spacious kitchen. Mostly, it was the wrap around porch that really made the place perfect. I enjoyed my morning coffee out on the porch in perfect tranquility. Despite the seclusion, the resort is fairly close to local amenities. Loved this cabin and definitely plan to be a repeat visitor next year!

Great Cabin, just not for sleeping and showering

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the Lazy Daze Lodge for all of its many amenities and warm, comfortable feel! It was clean and well taken care of and our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub fits 4-5 adults fairly comfortably. The theatre room was spacious and projector was easy to use. The only big complaints we had were with the beds and the showers. The beds were so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. This made nights difficult as we all tossed and turned most of the night. The showers have very little water pressure and the bedroom on the main level had a small shower head that barely put out water (it felt like a camper shower). But outside of those things, we had no other issues. In fact, the customer service is absolutely top notch! They answered the phone any time we called (day or night) and addressed/corrected any issues promptly. They even went so far as to bring us a number “6” pool ball when we found it was missing.

Family spring break getaway

Upon arrvl we noticed an odor in the cabin, (smelled like someone fried fish the night before) I quickly went through all the rooms and sprayed Lysol air spray.The beds were freshly made and nice and clean.The kitchen table was a bit sticky but it was wood and finished I think that is just what happens after a while when you clean it and if it’s not cleaned with proper cleaning materials.The hot tub water smelled like mildew and we called to let them know.They said they empty the hot tub after every check out before a new check in which I’m sure they do,however they need a new cover as we believe that was causing the smell our clothes and hair and bathing suits smelled like this for a week after!Despite that,All in all we truly enjoyed our family time in this cabin.The kids loved the movie theatre and playing foosball.The only thing that was very disheartening was that when we left (and I’m aware they aren’t responsible for lost or left behind items) we left our sound machine in the kids room.I called hour after check out to let them know and that we would pay for the shipping to send it back.It took a week for them to clean the cabin supposedly hence the stench when we checked in, we had to leave a garbage bag in the cabin as the outside bins were full and we didn’t want the bears getting into them.I called 3-4 times that wk asking if they happened to pick up the sound mch in the kids room each time I was told they hadn’t cleaned yet.A week later was told it was not there.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a good stay. I think it's definitely time for some updates on the place. The rugs were pretty dirty, the bedding was thin and worn. The pillows were also very worn. There was barely anything in the kitchen to cook with. And overall, the entire place needed a deep cleaning. The jets in the tubs were very dirty. The downstairs bathroom tub did not look like it was cleaned. There was pink mildew. And the shower curtain also needed to be replaced. It was covered in pink mildew. The location was nice as it was close but not too close to downtown. The size and number of rooms suited our needs. It was nice having a theater space and some amenities such as the pool table and foosball table. I just think for the price we paid for the cabin, I was expecting it to be cleaner and have more upkept supplies. I have stayed in cabins that were comparable or less expensive that were more comfortable and clean with plenty of cookware.

WORST CABIN I EVER STAYED IN!!!!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I cannot believe the state of the cabin (Lazy Daze Lodge) when we arrived! It looked nice at first, but as we started unpacking, it became clear that the couches were stained and the furniture and rugs were disgustingly dirty. The toilets wouldn't even flush because the septic tank was full, and the light fixtures above the beds were covered in thick dust that triggered my son's asthma. I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies just to make the place livable! The jacuzzi tubs were absolutely filthy, with brown jets on the inside. The shower in the master bathroom leaked all over the theatre room. This was by far the most unsanitary and terrible cabin I have ever stayed in. And to top it off, they refused to compensate me for the horrible experience! Oh, and let's not forget that the grill outside didn't even work! I will never support this business again. They clearly only care about making money and not about the well-being of their guests. It's time for the Health Department or Sanitation Department to pay them a visit.

Enjoyed our stay, but could be better

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visited with another family (4 adults, 4 kids ages 5-8) for 4 nights and had plenty of room and space to enjoy ourselves. We loved the hot tub and sauna!! Attractions were around 15-30 min drive away, depending on where you're going, which is what we expected. Everything was very clean, but we all agreed the house would really benefit from the following changes: new family room couch (frame seems to be bent or broken), new mattresses in at least 2 of the King bedrooms (very hard, firm mattresses in there currently; affected our sleep), new dishwasher (it functioned, but was difficult to load/unload because the weight causes the bottom to fall out and it's also incredibly loud), and adding a Roku stick in the movie room (a small $30-$50 expense for the owners that would have a huge impact on people using that room, as there are no DVDs or cable box in there). We came in early spring with 50 degree weather, but I imagine it gets beastly in the summer with the big windows (it got toasty even for us with the afternoon sun)--may also suggest trying to add some electric blinds to those upper windows! Management was super responsive and helpful (which they made easy to do via text). However, I'm not sure we'd stay at this specific cabin again unless the above changes occurred. (By the way, I say all of this as someone who also owns a vacation home and rents it out.) Tips for future renters: We cooked/grilled almost every meal here and the kitchen is well-equipped, but we couldn't find measuring cups/spoons, and as the listing states, there are no extra kitchen items included (coffee filters, salt/pepper, oil, etc.). The Food City grocery store is easy to get to and 10 min away, which was great.

There were a few issues such as some of the furniture having torn cushions, missing pool ball, but minor in the grand scheme of things. I would recommend this cabin for any family looking to get away.
