This cabin is beautiful and full of fun! We spent a week here and had such a great time. The cabin itself has 3 bedrooms, a nice kitchen with all the tools you need to cook a delicious meal. Downstairs is the game room where you have SkeeBall, Pool Table, Darts, Foosball, Stand alone video game and a gaming system with Game play, and a washer and dryer. The main floor where the kitchen is has a bedroom, bath, fireplace, TV and dining table. We played games and laughed like crazy the whole week. Daytime saw us out and about exploring, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and the Great Smokey Mountain park. We were treated to bear visits everyday that we were there and thoroughly enjoyed watching Mama and her 3 cubs. This cabin has a great view and direct sight of the Ober Mountain Tram as it travels up and down the mountain. A bit of advice, get there before dark so your first trip up the mountain road is easier. We hope to come back!

Everything was great. My only issue was with the placement of the laundry machines. BIfold doors would be easier to deal with then the sliding glass doors. Not enough room to change loads.

We had a fantastic stay here - the chalet is just like it appears in the listing and was a very comfortable base for a week. The clubhouses with swimming pools were a great bonus and we used them lots. Saw bears most days too!

Beautiful views and it’s definitely no exaggeration about the bears, had several come and visit! And so close to shopping, food and we loved the aquarium. Homeowner was very quick with response regarding questions we had about the checking out process. Would definitely recommend this property.

Check in couldn’t have been easier, the owner was fantastic in communicating. Kitchen was well stocked, for the most part, but missing a couple of things we could’ve used. Mattresses were comfortable. The cabin is in need of repairs and maintenance, as well as a deep cleaning.

My husband, our 2 boys (21/23) and their girlfriends thoroughly enjoyed this spot in the mountains. The house was the perfect set up. The queen bedroom was a little on the warm side but there were tower (and box) fans in every room. The game room we used every night!!!! Was a great way to connect with the kids after a long day of hiking / hanging out on the strip. The location is close to downtown Gatlinburg but will warn you, these roads are not for the faint of heart. I am not sure why I never thought of this but lucky for me my husband and boys were not phased by them. We cannot say enough about the south bayden clubhouse/pool. So much to do inside and out. (They say concessions but this is just vending machines) but you can bring what ever you want in (no glass). Of course we cannot forget the beauty of surrounding ls and bear traffic! We saw bears EVERY DAY at the house. Multiple mammas and their cubs. It was truly amazing!!!! Our host Patrick was the best I have worked with. The instructions were extremely simple and he checked on you after the first night to make sure everything was ok and you did not need anything. The toaster was broken and by that afternoon a new one was delivered to the house. He was definitely top notch!!

Great 'Family Time' House

The views were breath taking. Had coffee on the deck with watching the sunrise and bears. The basement game room had something for everyone and was a great place to laugh and enjoy family after a day of being tourists in Gatlinburg.

More than the bear essentials

Patrick’s place was a great getaway to create some wonderful family memories. We enjoyed the gorgeous views & some games of pool in the downstairs game room. If you are looking for a getaway high in the mountains this is the place to be. The drive up the mountain was breathtaking in more ways than one for this TX crew hahaWhile at the house we were able to enjoy the sights of a mother and her cubs as well as a curious yogi hoping to find an unlocked car with picnic baskets. LOL. Needless to say, we will forever heed the warning of removing all food items & locking the car doors. This was definitely a great start to our summer vacation!

Excellent mountain house

House was wonderful- we especially enjoyed the game room and mountain views! The house is close enough to town to be able to do all the activities you want, but far enough removed from the busy city to really enjoy quiet mountain time. Our host Patrick was always quick to respond to messages and very helpful, would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful Scenery, Homey Atmosphere!

The house is in a beautiful location with gorgeous views of the mountains and Gatlinburg! The house is comfortable with an awesome game room and comfy cozy beds! We enjoyed our stay and it was the perfect place to come back and relax after a long day of adventuring!

Just what we needed

Our stay was perfect. The cabin was quaint, very cozy and had the game room that provided a lot of great family bonding and friendly competition. The view is amazing and fun to watch the tram go by. Close to Ober Gatlinburg, a small market and pizza place. We had an amazing stay and look forward to staying again! We loved it!

Spectacular Family Vacation

We had a fantastic stay in this chalet! Patrick was such an amazing host and went above and beyond to make our vacation memorable. The views were amazing, and the property was clean and inviting. We utilized the game room every day! It snowed and the kids had so much fun playing in it! Would definitely recommend this property and will definitely be back!!

Birthday/Christmas get away

We did a little family vacation to celebrate my Husbands birthday and a Christmas vacation. The view is amazing!! Patrick is an awesome host!! He checked in on us to make sure everything was going ok and he was even awesome enough to send us a video of our bear visitor we had. Plenty of extras in the house as far as towels , trash bags etc. Loved that there was also tide pods so we could wash things as needed

Wonderful vacation

We stayed here for our anniversary and were delighted with our stay. The host was extremely attentive and personable, going above and beyond to make certain we had everything we needed during our stay. He even gave us suggestions for restaurants and places we should see while we were here. We could not have asked for a better experience!
