Quite Get Away

WOW! First let me say, this property was exactly as advertised, so what you see is what you got and it was great. If you are looking to get away and have peace and quite this property is the one, just remember you are driving in the mountains, so be mindful that roads are winding, steep and typically can fit one car with no guardrails. Saw wildlife (3 bears) Overall good time.

Chalet with a gorgeous view

This is the second time we have stayed at this house, and we are already planning our stay for next year. Gorgeous views of the mountains and downtown Gatlinburg, convenient location to get down to the city, the bypass for Pigeon Forge and the Park entrance. Beautiful house, the couches could be better, but the overall layout is fantastic for a family. The best part for us was the porch, morning coffee, spectacular views and bears galore. Beware! Keep your car doors locked at all times; they are very mischievous lol. As an extra, if you're looking for a fantastic steak Peddlers is the place to go!!

Chestnut Cabin Gatlingburg TN

The cabin was fantastic! The views were breathtaking . We enjoyed all amenities including kitchen, laundry, hot tub, pool table etc. Very close to all attractions and park entrance. My two complaints is the gravel driveway. A 4x4 is highly recommended. I have an suv front wheel drive and was only able to park on the far right where the gravel was less and there was more compacted dirt. Even our instacart drivers were not able to come up driveway so we had to go up and down gravel driveway which we all kept sliding on. Kinda scary with the kids and older folks. My other is the living room sofa. Very uncomfortable as it was lumpy and we could feel the coils. But all in all it was fantastic and will definitely want this cabin again

Family Thanksgiving

Our family decided to head to TN for Thanksgiving! The house is absolutely beautiful! The views are incredible! Location is great. We did lots of hiking, including laurel falls. We also did the alpine coaster, the island, and went downtown for shopping and dinner!. The only thing is the living room couch is more of an outdoor sofa so it’s not very comfortable. The house sleeps plenty, just lacking seating room for the amount of guests it holds! But it’s doable & still worth the stay!. The driveway is incredibly steep so make sure you have a vehicle to make it up! We had 2 teenagers. A toddler and a 8 year old. The pool table, connect 4, & hot tub kept all ages entertained! Communication with the host was very good as well. Any questions we had they responded immediately! This is a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of hiking !

Spectacular views

Chalet had great views and is located only a couple of minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg, great for a family vacation. Had minor inconvenience with fireplace and batteries for tv control remotes but hosts where awsome and took care of everything right away, even delivered new batteries for the remote control. Only issue I found was that bathrooms need some updating. I think I found my new favorite place to stay in Gatlinburg and would definitely book it for my next trip. I highly recommend it.

Great Smoky Mountains

The house is great. Views are fantastic. Kitchen well stocked. Hot tub was lovely, especially after a day of hiking. The beds were comfy. Living room sectional was not so great and otherwise limited seating. The drive is steep, but manageable. We enjoyed the fireplace as well as the outdoor fire pit. When they say to NOT leave food in your car, take it seriously. We had a bear in the car going after a half empty box of cheezits. Fortunately, no damage. We had a fantastic week.

Million Dollar View

Our stay at the chalet was everything that was promised. The view of the mountains and the town are spectacular. Morning coffee on the porch, evenings enjoying the hot tub and the occasional bear walking by. On a side note: Keep your car doors locked. Mine was left unlocked by accident and a nosy bear decided to take a peak! This house is perfectly located to get to the city easily and quickly, while still being able to enjoy the peace and quiet. Our hosts text us before we even got to the house to ask if we needed anything! We have stayed in many cabins in Gatlinburg and this is one of the top ones for us. We are already talking about next year!!

Beautiful property and views!

Our entire group loved the home with its unique charm, plush amenities, and gorgeous mountain views!! They provided everything we needed for a 6-night stay including supplies for laundry and cooking. We made several meals and didn't find anything missing from the kitchen. We played several games on the pool table and used the Rokus in each room for entertainment. It was a short drive to Gatlinburg and easy to access the bypass to Pigeon Forge so we could avoid large crowds. 10/10 would stay again! If you do stay, try the New Alpine Ski Mountain Pizza just down the road. Their small market had last-minute food items we needed. They also provide pick and delivery. Very delicious pizza and sandwiches!
