Our stay was terrific. The host was so attentive and helpful. A very well appointed kitchen. It had all the appliances, dishes, and utensils we needed to cook our Christmas meal. This was a Christmas vacation our family will always remember.

We loved this cozy cabin for our vacation. It snowed while we were here so the gas fireplace was a plus! We also had the privledge of seeing a bear during our stay which was such a cool experience! I hope to come back again.

We enjoyed the hot tub, shuffle board table, giant connect 4, and the arcade games. We also enjoyed seeing 10 bears during our stay. 3 of them were in this neighborhood. 1 was on our neighbor’s front porch!

Five Bears is a really good place to stay. The cabin is very nice. We loved the layout of the bedrooms. The maser is enclosed (not a loft) upstairs and the other 2 bedrooms are down in the basement.Our kids loved the game tables and the hot tub. There are games and plenty of things to do. It's a 15 min drive to Gatlinburg. 20 min to GSMNPThe cabin wasn't as clean as we were expecting upon arrival. A remote control was missing from the tv/cable which made it hard to watch tv and they don't stock any spices besides salt and pepper. None of these issues are major things, but thats what keeps 5 Bears from a 5.

Great Location in Gatlinburg

This cabin is fantastic! Very clean, well maintained, tons of space, easy communication with owners. Our family had a great time here! It isn't super secluded but it is a very nice, quiet area and easy to drive in. The location is also perfect, it's only about 10-15 minutes to Gatlinburg. You can avoid a lot of the traffic by using one of the first parking garages on the left in downtown. We thought everything was great and if we come back to the area we would stay here again. Highly recommend :)

Great location and beautiful cabin!!

We stayed for a volleyball tournament at Rocky Top which is very convenient to where this cabin is located. A lot of people were stuck in traffic the mornings of the tournament but we got there in less than 5 minutes which made it much less stressful. The layout and amenities in the cabin are 5 star. My only regret is that we got to enjoy the cabin more but we were at the tournament most of the weekend. We did enjoy the hot tub and my kids loved the Pac Man game located in the lower level. I highly would recommend this cabin to anyone!

Cleanest place I've stayed. The cabin had beautiful views. We saw one bear at night walking through the neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked. Loved the kids plates and utensils.

Great Smoky Mountains Trip!

The cabin was roomy and well equipped for a large family. It was a short drive from downtown Gatlinburg and the GSMNP. We loved being close to everything but also far enough away that it was peaceful. The owners were responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Would come back here again!

Looks exactly like pics!

Cabin looked just like online pics! Was very clean, has all of your basic overnight needs. 3 floors which were perfect for a family with children. We used the kitchen daily. Pots were not top notch but nothing to complain about as we were grateful the kitchen was fully equipped. If I had to find a flaw I’d say the parking should be marked for each cabin. The guest in the cabin next to us did not park in consideration of our cabin, they used most of our space causing us to park half the vehicle in the sloped part of parking space. More towels and a regular size mop would have been great. The cabin had 8 bathing towels, I prefer 2 per person (1 for face 1 for body). One of the children got sick and vomited, the mop was literally the size of a toy mop lol. I had to improvise. I would highly recommend this cabin because it suited all our needs! My requests aren’t complaints just something to consider but doesn’t take away from the fact the cabin delivered. I read reviews about lady bugs but my experience was they entered when we left the deck door open. Other than that we had 1 spider visit and 1 stink bug. There was not an infestation of any type of bugs. We were pleased!

Cabin was very clean, pretty decor!

Very nice cabin, decorated pretty! Very nice kitchen, newly update bathrooms! Steep steps to bedrooms! Nice large deck with Weber grill! Parking adequate, turning vehicle can be a challenge if cabins full, especially if you are in a truck! TV reception was great! Would help if cabin # was lit up! Owners very helpful! Overall, enjoyed our stay!

Excellent Stay

Excellent communication by owner(s). Very responsive. Extremely clean and spacious. Love the location. Beautiful mountain view but close to attractions both in Pigeon Forge and in Gatlinburg. Only issue was parking with 2 vehicles was extremely tight.
