The cabin was great and exactly as listed. The location was easy to access and was an easy drive into town. The property manager was easy to get a hold of and answered questions quickly. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with basic necessities. Our whole group enjoyed their stay and we would definitely recommend this cabin!

Great spot for Smokies hiking - comfortable, large, all the amenities with ample cooking tools, and pool and hot tub were a hit with kids. Close to grocery if you need it.

The cabin was BEAUTIFUL!!! There was plenty of space for everyone and the kids loved the pool and the hot tub. The dining room table was large enough for all of us to sit together for Thanksgiving dinner. My family had a wonderful holiday!!!

This house was great! We had 13 family members staying here for 4 days. The house was exactly as described. Very clean and in great condition. The drive up was not bad at all. Conveniently located about 20 minutes to both Pigeon Forge and downtown Gatlinburg. The kids loved the pool! We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the back deck. We even saw a bear come by! Communication was easy and very informing. The snacks they had out for us when we arrived was such a nice touch of hospitality. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to stay again myself.

Katie and her staff are amazing, everything she guaranteed was provided and more. She and the staff was proactive with pre arrival tips -providing insight to places to visit, answering general questions, providing contact information and next day check-in inquiry. We thought the sign advising that the cabin was located in a bear crossing was a decorative item until, we had the family forever moments of having bear visitors (mama bear with 2 cubs and a huge solo explorer). The cabin is immaculate, this was one of the first times we did not have to preclean before we unpacked. The cabin was well stocked with all the necessities general pantry items, trash bags, general cleaning supplies, pots, pans, towels, toiletries, CLEAN gas grill, games and toys for kids, even a started stack of firewood. This is a family entertainment cabin, the kids enjoyed staying at the cabin, there was no pressure to do a massive amount of activities (1-2 per day). Thanks, Katie, Shawn and Jim - for the great family memories - we will be back.

Arriving at the most beautiful cabin ever, we were very excited to find the cabin clean and very welcoming. We all enjoyed the theater room, but the heated pool was the icing on the cake. All you really need to bring is your clothes and food. Pool towels and all other amenities were provided. Having coffee in front of the fireplace while watching the news every morning was spectacular. We will definitely be returning. Our host could not have been more accommodating.

The Cabin was awesome & the communication with the owners was great even though we didn’t have any reason to contact them, they sent thorough instructions ahead of time. All The Beds & Couches were comfy, the layout was so nice & we especially loved all the fireplaces even in the Summer & the iLink lights/speaker above the pool table & hot tub were great! If we had any complaints at all it would be the Pool was WAY too cold to enjoy so we didn’t ever use it, the basement show liner needs cleaned/replaced & the porches need cleaned of spider webs as there are large spiders in the corners & above the doors that my husband had to take care of those at night before any of us girls would go out there.

Katie was so easy to work with and super nice. There were a few little kinks but Katie’s was available and worked them out quickly. The house was wonderful and just as the pictures described it. My family and I truely enjoyed our stay and will definitely use Katie again ! Thank you so much for a wonderful place to vacation.

Our stay at "The Great Escape" consisted of 7 adults and and 4 children and this was the perfect place. The bedroom layouts were perfect for 3 couples and the downstairs was perfect for the grandkids. Aunt Jane, who flew in from Las Vegas, stayed downstairs with the kids and loved it. When we arrived we were all excited about the home the minute we entered. It was a very clean with a kitchen that was well stocked with cooking and dinner ware. The pool was a hit with the kids and they also enjoyed the hot tub with their parents on the cool nights. The proximity to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was perfect. I highly recommend this cabin for couples or families. We all were very satisfied with everything and had a truly great experience. Before we left everyone was talking about returning next year. Don't miss your chance to stay at "The Great Escape" and experience a great time to remember.
