Christmas present vacation to our children and grands. One Down and two more to go. !

House is great, we did not see in the description that the road leading to the chalet was narrow, steep, winding, switchbacks, no guard rails, . We had to either back up the steep driveway, or back down it! Chalet was very Rooney for the six of us! Three generations from 13-80. Mitch was very responsive to all our issues!

A beautiful, clean, spacious house with a view of the mountains. Very quiet, but not secluded area. Kind and pleasant hosts who really cared about our experience. We will definitely consider staying there again.

Presidents Day weekend with family

Great views of the Smokies in this well appointed home near Ober Gatlinburg. We were not there to ski this trip but definitely convenient for it. Wonderful weekend.

A great memory maker.

From the second, we unlocked the door to the second we left we enjoyed every second of the chalet. All the beds are really comfortable in the houses set up in such a way there’s plenty of spaces to move around and relax. We will definitely be staying in the future at this location.They mentioned packing extra blankets we did and check them on as a carry-on, but we didn’t need it. The closet have plenty.We did see a coyote and some other wildlife. It was awesome.!

What a view!

We were amazed at the gorgeous view when we arrived. We spent lots of time on the balcony, enjoying the sounds and sights (bears!) of nature. The kitchen was well stocked, and we cooked several times. This was a great place for our family during our stay. Thank you!

Perfect location - lots of bears!

Wonderful stay at this gorgeous property. It was perfect for us - 3 couples and 3 children. The cabin has a bedroom and bath in 3 separate locations, each a private space, it really worked out great. Everything we needed was there - great cooking accessories, plenty of utensils and lots of matching dishes. This cabin is so beautifully color coordinated. The curtains, dishes, pillows - it all matches and is themed. You really feel like someone took a lot of care making this a perfect vacation spot. We loved it all. And bears! We have been to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg many times and this is the first time we have seen bears. They aren't kidding when they say read the instructions about the bears - we saw bears 7 or 8 times in 4 days. It was truly wonderful. The cabin is in a really wild area, even though it has a lot of cabins. The surrounding wilderness makes you feel like you are all alone, and evidently the bears agree! We saw them right in our driveway. The view from the deck can't be beat. We had a terrible storm one night and the electricity was knocked out. The owners were great about responding when I reported the outage, and I felt like someone was there 24 hours a day making sure we had what we needed and we weren't stranded. The electric came back on 4 or 5 hours later, and all was well. Great communication. All in all, one of our best ever VRBO stays. We'll be back!

Mountain Family Trip

We enjoyed our stay however, we were disappointed with the top floor accommodations. The bottom floor is updated and amazing but the second floor bed room/bathroom and top floor need updating. The home was decorated with Thanksgiving decorations and Christmas decorations. Our visit was in July.

Fourth of July Family vacation

Instead of Christmas presents this year, we decided it’s time to collect memories instead of things. This house was perfect for our first time in Tennessee! Tons of space for everyone, the view was amazing, and we were visited by bears everyday. We highly recommend!

Lot of steps, scary driveway, beam noggin knocker.

We all enjoyed our stay at this property but the road to the property is under going repair in one area. Most is in good condition but narrow and winding with blind spots and deep ditches at the edge of the asphalt. The house is older and can use some refreshing both inside and outside. There are three levels and lots of steps to traverse to the main entrance on the top floor. The steps to the loft bedroom as well as the steps down to the two lower bedrooms are steep and narrow. The master bedroom has a wood ceiling beam, if forgotten when getting into or out of bed at night could cause you to knock a lump on your head, (ask my wife how we know). The driveway although appearing relatively new is not level and somewhat intimidating to enter and back out of. There should be concrete curbs on the edge to prevent driving off of the edge.

Driving at night up the mountain made me nervous.

The cabin was wonderful with plenty of room for everyone. The only negative was the drive up and down the mountain. Driving it at night made me very nervous.

Very nice place to stay

Nice and clean place to stay, with lots of space, easy to check in, well-equipped kitchen and the host was helpful with information, especially the digital guide. The host put a lot of thought into the layout, and the coffee table, we do love it. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation here.

Oberhaus

My family (including two young daughters) greatly enjoyed a several day fall stay at this property. The home and hot tub were wonderful and provided every accommodation we wanted. What I think really separates this property from others is the amount of thought put in by the hosts, providing an excellent coffee lay-out, a well cleaned hot tub, plenty of towels and a nice stock of kitchen supplies.
