The view from this cabin is not mentioned enough in the listing so we were so surprised when we arrived! The cabin overlooks downtown Gatlinburg and at night it’s extra beautiful! We loved the layout of this cabin. There are rooms that are far away from the gathering areas which masters them extra quiet. The wood burning fire place was a big plus. We had a fire going every evening. This was definitely one of our top 5 cabins for the yearly group trip we’ve been taking since 2001!

Fabulous home for large group

This large and comfortable lodge is ideal! It is exactly as pictured and described, and the property management company is exemplary. Every question or request to them was answered promptly and any concerns immediately addressed. The property itself is amazing, with exceptional views of both Gatlinburg and the Great Smokey Mountains. We spent a week relaxing and enjoying both the property and the surrounding areas. Kitchen is well equipped (at least 30 coffee mugs, as an example), beds are comfortable, linens of good quality. Every bedroom has its own private full bathroom, plus two powder rooms adjacent to common areas. The balconies were delightful with plenty of chairs and side tables for relaxing. The outdoor rocking chairs are so comfortable, we all wanted to bring a couple of them home with us! I highly recommend this fantastic home as a gathering place for family and friends.

Good Location, Great Layout

I had my large family stay here for a birthday/retirement celebration. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom, as well as a couple extra bathrooms throughout the house I wasn’t expecting! The location was super close to all of the Gatlinburg action. Very convenient for a group wanting to get into town easily and quickly. The road is a little intimidating, but very doable. We were able to park 7 cars in the driveway with a little engineering. Do not leave even your empty cooler outside. A bear took ours and broke into it. We found it up the road. We weren’t even mad. Kind of excited and impressed.

Living in Luxury

Our one week stay at Hickory Ridge lived up to our high expectations. The large cabin accommodated our group of family and friends very comfortably. The views of Gatlinburg were wonderful, could even hear the music from the porches (although it did not disturb with the doors closed). We were close enough to the town to get there quickly but also enough distance to be away from the hustle of the crowd that busy holiday week. The few small issues we had were resolved quickly with friendly communication from a team of helpful Avant staff. Overall, I’d highly recommend this lovely location, especially for those with a large group. Thanks for everything!

Annual Family Gathering

We had a great stay with 7 families, parking was a little tight but location was great. The cabin layout was great. We did have a surprise as we were unloading, a bear showed up and was sniffing the back seat of P/U truck but luckily we were able to get him to move on. He came back the next morning and crossed teh street to scale the mountain. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a large cabin.

Amazing property with a view to match!

Our immediate family and plus-ones of 10 had all the comforts of home. The kitchen was well supplied with loads of dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans, etc…. There were 8 full baths (one for each room) and two common hallway powder rooms on the ground and game room floors as well. No one had to share a bathroom (heaven!) The wi-fi was fast and each TV had Roku on it—although we did bring our own Firestick which also worked well. The AC had multiple air handlers and we could adjust how cool we wanted it on each floor. Teens enjoyed the hot tubs and they functioned well. There were little niceties such as throw blankets, hotel-style soaps, new dish sponge, kitchen towels, and board games/books for our comfort. We easily seated 10 adults in the great room for family game nights. Although we didn’t build a fire or use the gas BBQ grill, everything was there to do so. The view from the expansive balconies was second to none. The 1 mile road up from Gatlinburg was very steep and windy, they aren’t exaggerating when they say no oversized vehicles, but no issues for our cars, F-150, and SUV. Parking for 4 vehicles and one motorcycle was no problem. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge both easily accessible. Our dogs were welcome (with a fee) which was a big plus for us! The linens were fresh white cotton duvets and each room was well appointed with a fireplace, extra pillows and blankets. I loved this stay and highly recommend it!

Perfect location!

The location of this house was perfect for the various activities that all family members wanted to participate in! Private bathrooms for each bedroom was definitely a plus as well as balcony doors from each room to view Gatlinburg!

This house is huge. It is perfect for big families. Parking is only for 4 vehicles. The dryer went during our stay and they had a new one installed the very next day. They were very attentive and addressed any issue right away. It is very close to Gatlinburg. Definitely will stay again!!!

Great family vacation

Absolutely loved this home. The concierge service was a great addition. We would absolutely stay here again. We have stayed in other homes that did not live up to the online expectations. This home was wonderful in every way! No home is perfect, but I was very happy with the upkeep in general and the amenities provided.

Really Gem place in Gatlinburg.

This Cain is amazingly situated right in downtown Gatlinburg overlooking some of the best view of mountains and city. Cabin is very spacious, well laid out and stocked well with all the essentials. Only reason I want to give 4.75 stars because the kitchen and bathrooms cabinet are little dated and needs some TLC or replacement. AvantStay staff and property manager Josh was so helpful and responsive for any issue. Thanks

Amazing

We stayed at this property with 4 other couples. Every bedroom, except 1, had a king size bed which was important to our group. Also, every bedroom had its own bathroom and fireplace. I would definitely stay here again. Hope to bring my whole family someday, as it is kid friendly. My grandkids would love the game room. Great view of Gaitlynburg.
