Leprecaun Island is a great cottage located on the creek

  • Lush greenery is set in a spectacle of Irish charm. Just a short drive from downtown Gatlinburg, this 2 bedroom and 2 bath, mountain cottage located in a beautiful wooded area with a running creek. This cozy cottage is filled with all of the accommodations you need. Off of the back deck are steps leading down to its own private bridge and island! Two flowing creeks rush on either side of the island, creating the perfect place to try and spot a Leprechaun!
    During the months of November - March , 4 wheel drive and/or chains are required in case of inclement weather.

Gatlinburg Family Trip

Such a good time! I really use the hot tub which was very relaxing. It was good to be able to prepare me meals at home. Will definitely stay here once again.

Whimsical & Enchanting

We LOVED our stay at Leprechaun Island & wished we never had to leave! It was worth the drive to be ~20 min away from the hustle & bustle of the touristy strips. The entire outside atmosphere of the cottage was whimsical & enchanting. To lay on the hammock between the streams was such a tranquil experience. We’ve stayed in many different cabins when in Gatlinburg, but we will search for this one specifically every time we come back.

Perfect if you don't mind a longer drive

The house is pretty far out from gatlinburg, but if you are looking for tranquil and peaceful, this house works great. It was clean and the backyard area was great. The only downside is there aren't a lot of extras that you might get elsewhere. No coffee, tea, etc.

Charming property

Very spacious with nice amenities. Older property with TVs in every room and spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds. New appliances in kitchen and charcoal grill outside. We really enjoyed our stay and the neighborhood is quiet. Drive to downtown Gaitlinburg attractions is about 20-25 minutes, but we did not want to be downtown so we were very happy. Grocery store, gas and local shops are about 10 minutes away so not bad. Kitchen cabinets and side patios could use some attention.

Leprechaun Island - Gatlinburg

Spent 5 glorious nights in this spacious, comfy cabin. Beautiful, tranquil grounds. Located close to everything you need, but away from the tourist traps. Enjoyed every moment, and plan to return.

Quaint family getaway

Property is beautiful, the grounds make you feel like you are all alone in the woods. Quite area for the family to connect, the cabin has a great charm to it, the book shelf and board games are a huge plus. Clean and everything in working order.

Beautiful Location

Enjoyed our stay and loved the beautiful creek behind the house. The house had everything we needed extra towels and blankets, plenty of dishes, games, washer & dryer, hot tub, pool table. Perfect house for my family of 4.
