We enjoyed the 3 separate BR areas especially each having a deck. The mattresses were a bit firm but overall acceptable. The Rec room, dining area and family rooms & screened porch were SUPERB! E en the Bear visits were exciting.

Great for families

Great space for our family with adult children and grandchildren. Plenty of space to spread out. Private decks with great views. The starter kitchen/bath items are more than enough for a weekend. Plenty of baby items (toys, high chair, travel crib, etc). Great communication from Joy. We would definitely book again, hopefully for a longer stay.Heed the advice to lock your car! We had some nose prints and I watched a bear try to open a neighbor’s car door.

Excellent Stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Bear Corner Chalet! We saw so many bears! The home was clean! Just enough room for 6 adults and 3 children! Stocked with everything you need! When we weren’t out and about enjoying Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge we would hang out on the screened-in porch! Bears and cubs would visit us several times a day! Very close to Ober Mountain tram! Very close to the S. Baden pools! Excellent community with Joy! We will definitely be back!

Great relaxing beautiful cabin

My family of 9 stayed at this cabin from 6/7-6/12. It was everything it was advertised to be. Great pools, hiking and attractions to keep our grandchildren entertained and very relaxing for the adults. The beds are comfortable and we really enjoyed the hot tub and game room. The club houses that we had access to, were great. We saw a lot of bears! Will stay here again hopefully.

All the way from West Texas

We had a fabulous stay!!! Beautiful place with plenty of room for the entire family. There were tons of games and everybody played pool and shuffleboard and hung out on the fabulous screened in porch and watched the Smokey mountain rain. The kids swam at the heated pool on Baden. We saw so much awesome wildlife. Chipmunks, hawks, woodpeckers, and even bears!! When they say lock your car doors they mean it, lol!!! The owners were fabulous and were so easy to communicate with. It was a very peaceful and quiet area too. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Mini Spring break vaca

Was just like pictures, except they had actually got new game room and living room furniture ( loved the new leather couches and recliners). Lots of space for a large family! Very clean, peacefull! The owner Joy was a text away. She is lovely!

Great space and excellent location

5 adults and 2 kids for a 4 night stay. The house had so much space there was plenty of room for all of us. The hot tub was excellent after snowboarding/skiing/walking around downtown. Bedrooms had plenty of pillows, covers, and outlets. Kitchen was stocked with almost everything we needed. 3 fireplaces were great (one bedroom had a fireplace which become the favorite room for the kids). Balconies in 3 of the 4 bedrooms with great views.The bathrooms were not as clean as we expected; however, we brought cleaning supplies and was able to almost completely remedy that.Beds were comfortable with TVs in each room. It was unbelievable how close it was to Ober. Walkable if you really want to, but the roads are windy and some places are steeper than others. Less than a 5 min drive to the 20 parking lot(closest to the mountain).Supplied extra towels and washcloths. Also washing detergent in case any laundry needed to be done. Dishwasher pods were also provided as well as dish soap. Salt for the pavement was available and came in handy when it snowed the night before we left.Clear instructions for check-in and check-out. The host was very helpful and responded quickly with all questions.I would definitely stay again.

Great place for a family

The house was perfect for our family getaway. Enjoyed the pool table. Close to downtown. Just down the hill and you’re there. Would highly recommend this for your next stay.

This cabin has plenty of space for your family! My sister and our families stayed here and the kids all had plenty of space. We didn’t even get the cars unpacked and saw a bear walking through the property! Great place to stay for your gatlinburg trip! Will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Stay!!

We had a great family trip! There were six of us total, and the house was plenty big. On top of that, it felt very cozy. It felt like home the entire time we were there. We took the Ober ski lift down to Gatlinburg and didn’t have to drive into town. We weren’t aware that it was so close before booking, but it worked out perfectly as we did not have to try to find parking down on the strip. We will stay again!

Bears, Bears, Bears!

The chalet is awesome. We had a family group of 10 and there was plenty of room, the game room, living room and screened porch giving lots of options for hanging out. But the stars of the show were the bears! Lots of bears! Very close to Ober Gatlinburg and an easy drive into town. Would love to stay there again.

Great location, perfect for families!

This cabin is close enough to downtown but still feels secluded. It has plenty of bedrooms for everyone to spread out. We really enjoyed the access to the three pools as it was hot. Oh, and you definitely see bears there!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great time at this property! It was set up very well for our party, which included several children, and was equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend. There were a couple of issues that came up, but these were promptly addressed via communication with property owners. We got to see >10 bears from the house, which was wonderful!

Retreat away from the chaos

Let’s be honest, Gatlinburg can be a sensory overload at times. That’s why this house was a fantastic location for our weekend family excursion. Tucked away just an arm’s length from downtown, you feel secluded yet conveniently within reach. The spacious living areas, game room, and hot tub were family favorites. A neighborhood bear greeted us within 30 minutes of arriving! Quite the shocking greeting but felt fitting for the area! One drawback for our large group was the quaint and modest kitchen. Our meal prep occurred in shifts to accommodate the space. Yet the cozy feel was inviting and cleanliness was top notch! Would definitely consider this chalet again for its convenience and ability to entertain our large family!

Very impressed!

We were very impressed with what we got at such a great price! The only issue I had with the place is there is no privacy around the hot tub and going up the stairs to the room with the twin beds there is a nail sticking out. Over all we really enjoyed the space! Will definitely book here again!
