We loved the cabin!! The views were wonderful even though the drive up to the cabin from the main road made some of our family a little nervous. The cabin had room for everyone and they all talked about how well they were able to sleep. There was plenty for the kids to do and the cooks loved the kitchen. If I had to give a negative, and it's not so much a negative as it is personal preference, we thought that the cabin would be decorated for Christmas. One of the pictures said that it would be but the fall decorations were still up. And they were great fall decorations. But we had kinda expected to walk into a little bit of Christmas cheer. We will 100% consider this cabin again in the future!

The description of this property is everything that is described. It's a beautiful home with lots of amenities and is wheelchair friendly. Our family really enjoyed our stay. So many personal touches that make you feel at home. You won't be disappointed in staying here. If we return to Tennessee, we will definitely stay here again.

This home was amazing! There was plenty of room for all of us and had nice areas where we could sit and find some peace and quiet when we needed some down time. The porches were awesome and we would go out in the evening to sit and chat and enjoy some wine. The first 3 mornings we were there we saw a bear amble across the back end of the property - talk about really being close to nature!The property manager E.J. was always checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and was quick to respond to any question or issue we had.I highly recommend this property! It was so clean and very well-stocked and the views from the porches are simply stunning! We actually want to plan another trip there in the future.

This was a wonderful place! Close to everything we wanted to do. The view was so enjoyable, the clouds and mountains! It was exactly as expected, plenty of space. We really looked forward to going back at the end of the day. Heather was wonderful and communication was great.

We really enjoyed our stay and it was a great experience. The house exceeded our expectations and met our accessibility needs. The house had everything we needed and provided a lot of starter supplies. Heather was very communicative and tried to help us see bears! Very spacious for a party of 12. We were a little nervous about the mountain drive but it was no problem at all!

My Favorite VRBO Stay

We had the most AMAZING time!! The house was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and the views were STUNNING!! The house was everything listed and more!! Heather was a FANTASTIC host!! She was so nice and very responsive. If we make it back to Gatlinburg again soon, we will DEFINITELY stay there!!

Best Smokey Mountains Vacay - OH THE VIEWS!!!

This was our first time renting a vacation property and Heather did not disappoint! The pictures actually did not do the property justice. A beautifully decorated, clean, well-stocked property that had everything we could have wanted/needed, and OH THE VIEWS!!! The road was not bad at all to get up the mountain and was well-maintained and did I mention, OH THE VIEWS!!! Peace & Quiet is a very appropriate property name as all you hear are sounds of nature, so peaceful and serene. There were eight adults travelling together and we all had our own private space but could all come together with plenty of room to spare. There were plenty of supplied games to play and we all had fun letting out our "inner child" in the game room. Heather's communications before, during, and after the trip was impeccable, clear and spot on. We were promised to see bears and boy did we see bears! which added to the enjoyment of the trip and forever cherished memories. If you are considering a visit to the Smokey Mountains, you want to rent this property, and I will too on any return vacations to the Smokey Mountains!!!

Wonderful place

Everything at the house was as described. It was clean, comfortable and the beds were amazing. Of the course the view was spectacular and the bear and three cubs just added to our stay. Would definitely book again

Perfect

Absolutely beautiful. Communication was stellar. The whole experience was incredible. Worked out perfectly with my 85 year old mom and 2 year old granddaughter. The crib was a lifesaver! Having handicap access for my mom was a blessing! We will definitely be back!

Fall break and wedding

Beautiful and amazing home! We was married on the beautiful balcony. Everyone’s perfect and we had plenty of room. The host Heather was beyond amazing. Worth every penny and more!! I’ve never seen so many bears.

Getaway with the family

We had the best time ever at Peace and Quiet Mountain Home! It was nice to have the handicap accessible doors and bathrooms for our parents who are in their 80's. We loved gathering around the large dining table for dinners and having the pool table in the living room where we all could enjoy it was definitely a bonus. We hung out mostly on the back porches just enjoying each other and looking at the beautiful mountain views. It was our family's favorite spot. The game room downstairs became a nightly battle in Mario Kart for the young and old. Hearing all the laughter was priceless. The house was in a perfect location to be out of the hustle and bustle of downtown but was close enough for us to go into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We also enjoyed the pickle ball courts and one of the 3 pools located in the community for an afternoon. The host Heather is amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better house to make memories in. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Family Vacation

Our family spent a week at this beautiful home. The views are amazing and the house is beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything you might need. Heather is a perfect hostess - her communication prior to check-in was so helpful and thorough and she was available and happy to help with the few questions we had during our stay. Scenic vacation home

This property is a well appointed and clean home. We had 4 children along with 6 adults and it was nice not having to tote all the kiddie items as many were provided. Very nice starter items so that grocery shopping is not needed immediately. Loved the 2 outdoor covered decks, one of which was screened in. The roads to get to the property - 8 min from the neighborhood entrance - were no joke with blind curves and sides that were on cliffs without guardrails, but we managed them fine. Just as the listing says, it is a bit of a drive to get to many of the places, but the serenity of the area was worth it. The pools in the community were not crowded at all and we were there over the fourth. We had it all to ourselves one day. We enjoyed our stay!

Family Time

"Peace and Quiet" is a fitting name for this house. The view from the upper porches is awesome - treetops, mountains and sky.. Heather was very responsive to our questions prior to our visit so we were well informed on how to utilize the bedrooms. This accommodated our staggered arrivals, for every family knew where to take their luggage. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, dishes, and utensils. Every aspect of the house was clean. There was plenty of parking for our four vehicles, especially after putting one in the garage for the week. The older kids and adults loved the game room. This is a spacious house with lots of gathering places so there was always somewhere to find "peace and quiet". Great house, and we're already telling friends and family about it.
