Do Not Rent! Or Rent from this Company (Gatlinburg Falls)
So many issues!! First, they did not send the check-in information until 4:00 on the day of the reservation. I have never dealt with this before. Most homeowners send the day before. As soon as we walked in, we noticed a horrible smell. We later discovered it was coming from a wet spot in the master bedroom (possibly mold or mildew). The kitchen did not have enough silverware for our family of 5. The dryer would only run for 10-15 minutes at a time. Also, half of the lightbulbs in the house needed to be replaced and the downstairs shower was clogged with hair and would fill when we showered. Disgusting! All of these issues were reported to the management company, but they did nothing. I contacted the rental company, and they would always say the right things but never send anyone out. We had to go to the grocery store to buy things to help with the odor and some plastic utensils. I requested a partial refund. While we were staying there, they said they would deal with that at the end of our trip in case anything else went wrong. After we checked out, they then ignored my texts about the refund. I would not recommend any of the homes run by Cabins of the Smokey Mountains, Gatlinburg Falls. They clearly do not care about the maintenance of their properties.
