This accommodation is a real dream!
The Homeliday-Relax has surpassed our expectations in a big way.
The village of Caldana is situated, like many Tuscan villages, on the top of a hill. Because of that, you are greeted with the most spectacular view from the terrace, which provides early risers with gorgeous sunrises.
The house is immaculately clean, modern and equipped with all the amenities you could wish for. Because it is so new, the installations are in perfect order.
The village in comparison is very natural and has kept its medieval flair, seemingly untouched by destructive tourism, that sadly affects so many other beautiful places on this planet. There is one small supermarket, which is very nicely stocked, you will find excellent restaurants, a bakery, cafés and more. One will experience Italy in a way, that seems to reaffirm positive stereotypes which may live rent-free in one’s head. A lot of beautiful walks are reachable with a short drive.
The sea is not far away and the province of Grosseto offers many places well worth visiting.
Last but not least there are the hosts, Susanna and Edoardo, who live in one of the neighbouring houses. This is an absolute plus, as they are the most charming and helpful people we have met in a long time. If there is even the slightest hint of a problem, they are willing to do everything to sort that out immediately.
All in all it’s a place where one can’t help but to fall in love with.
We can recommend it full-heartedly.
