“Easy to find, really quiet, peaceful location, isolated, so own transport is definitely required.Only member of staff that I spoke to was really helpful and friendly. Lodge was really clean and tidy.would definitely recommend it.also had a great view of Ben Nevis.”

“Really liked this place, a few minor blips, or would have given 5-star. GREAT location -- had a lodge on the water -- great views of the ocean! Had a hot tube which was enjoyed after long hikes. Restaurant had great food and drink. It was kind of setup as a hotel and then out lodges, which gave it a kind of camp ground feel. Our lodge had a kitchenette in it with a washer-dryer combo -- so if you want to do laundry and pack lighter -- great option. The view here off our deck was awesome...

“We stayed at Aonach Cottage in late June and early July of 2026. The cottage is beautiful and surrounded by mountains. The road to the cottage is about 7 minutes long and bumpy, but worth it to be in such a beautiful location. Here are some details about the cottage. “Idyllic setting with beautiful views away from everything with great hosts! We loved it!”

“What a find! This little hoos on a loch with a hot tub was cosy and perfect as a base for our Glencoe hikes. We had evening and morning hot tubs and loved watching the weather come over. The restaurant next door was excellent and the hosts helpful and friendly. Was hard to leave!”

“As a family of 5 with a dog we have spent the last 2 Christmas’s at the mountain cottage’s and they are just perfect. No Wifi which is a blessing for a week of no screens, so getting out in the local area for some fantastic walks is the only entertainment you need. The cottages have everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. A little peice of heaven for some peace and seclusion at the end of a busy year. We will be back!”
