The accommodations were spacious, beautiful and well kept. Elias was easy to deal with and took our dietary issues into account when making our delicious meals. Betty quietly did our laundry, cleaning and serving. The grounds were lovely with lots of outdoor seating to enjoy them. We had three generations of family, ages 5 to 69 and we all had a wonderful time. Riverwalk is awesome!

No suggestions to add...this is it

Perfect from start to finish, and I have never said that in all our travels. We always have "if only they had done this" conversations. We let the chef, Elias, have free reign. He would ask for likes/dislikes, and again, not a single bad meal. Out of 6 adults. Try that at any restaurant. He is also property manager, Betty and two others helping with grounds. I'd had an emergency right before our trip, so was housebound while the others did tours, and never felt their intrusion.Shout out to Carlos, BlueMorphoTours. Tell him what you want, he can make it happen. Francisco lead the ATM tour, and my crew raved about him. We are ready to stay here again!

Nice property especially for visiting Rio on Pools and the ruins. The chef was magnificent. Would be even better for families with kids as there was a lot for them to enjoy.

Perfectly Lovely Experience

Our extended family of 9 stayed for 5 nights at Riverwalk. The ranch style home is very well designed for large groups with plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces. Elias prepared delicious meals, provided tips for exploration, and even a doctor for an unforeseen allergic reaction. Laundry, dishes, cleaning, and baggage were all taken care of seamlessly. We were entertained by Black Iguanas in the garden and the birding right from the front porches. We highly recommend this property!

Peaceful Luxury

Our group of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at at riverwalk. In the morning we’d sit on the verandah and watch the birds (parrots, hummingbirds, blackbirds and even toucans) while sipping our coffee. The pool was close by with lots of lounging areas and plentiful beach towels. The meals prepared by Chef Elias and Betty were so good - honestly better than most of the other delicious meals we’ve had in Belize. The beds were very comfortable (and mostly king sized!) and we each had our own room across the sprawling house. My 7 year old daughter loved the box of games found in the one bedroom and did like the trampoline and playhouse too. Not too far of a drive to San Ignacio and Belmopan and all the local sites. Only wish we’d planned more time!

Exceeded All Expectations!

This place truly had it all Beautiful home and property- spacious and lovely environment to hang out inside or outside Wonderful staff- Elias and Betty were so kind and attentive, gave great recommendations, anticipated our needs and went above and beyond DELICIOUS food- seriously some of the best meals we’ve eaten, for every single meal. Cannot recommend this place enough! We hope to return soon!

Belize Vacation

My husband and I along with 5 friends came to stay at Riverwalk Ranch to enjoy warm weather, go birding and visit Mayan ruins. Elias and Betty made our stay memorable, enjoyable and relaxing. Elias's meals were works of art, the house beautiful, and the pool refreshing. The tours that we booked picked us up at the house which made the day trips very easy. Sitting on the veranda in the late afternoon watching the parrots arrive was a favorite pastime. A wonderful vacation and a home that I would heartily recommend.

Spectacular family property

Every member of our family group from 4 to 74 loved this special property. The house is beautiful and the grounds are nothing short of spectacular. It was a great place for the children, ages 4,7, and 8. In addition to the pool, there were many things to do, including a trampoline and a treehouse. The porch has a wonderful seating area, and the inside has areas as well where we gathered each evening to hang out. I can’t say enough about the chef Elias and his assistant Betty. We asked for Belizian cuisine, and we were not disappointed at any time. Many days we left early to go off into the countryside for adventures and they were incredibly accommodating about early breakfast even making burritos one morning so that we could take them with us. The food was wonderful. We took advantage of many of the things to do in the San Ignacio area. The house was a great starting point for our adventures. Don’t miss the Mayan kitchen. Staying in this wonderful home was a highlight of our trip

Fantastic Stay in Belize!

We were greeted with warm hospitality from the moment of arrival on this beautiful property. The house and property was very clean and manicured. The pool was fabulous to relax in after a long day of excursions. Elias and Betty made our stay a complete delight. Elias is an amazing cook - hands down the best food we had in Belize altogether. We already miss his cooking! Our only regret was not booking a longer stay here! Thank you for a marvelous time and showing us the true spirit of Belize.

Family getaway to Cayo

My family loved our stay at Riverwalk! Elias (the chef and house manager) paid attention to all the little details that made our trip so special. Each meal was prepared with love. My son turned 11 during our trip, and he made sure we had a delicious cake for our family celebration. The grounds at Riverwalk are so much more beautiful than the pictures show (and the pool is like a nice warm bath). It's about a 90 minute drive from Belize City. We took short day trips using Riverwalk as our home base (cave tubing, exploring Mayan ruins).This is a special place, and my family and I felt relaxed and well cared for at Riverwalk. We will be back!

Amazing

Our stay at Riverwalk was a highlight of our Belize tour. Communication with Kelly was easy and her beautiful home is breathtaking. You have to see both the house and surrounding scenery to believe it. My kids loved swimming, relaxing in the large hammocks, and exploring the grounds looking for iguanas. Elias, host and chef, is an absolute gem. He is kind and genuinely cares about both the house and guests staying there. We traveled with 2 adults and 4 kids ages 9-17. Every single one of my kids devoured the diverse breakfasts and dinners cooked by Elias and Betty. Elias also asked for preferences and respected allergies/intolerances. Little snacks and desserts were an added bonus. Everything was so good and we were treated to an exceptional stay. We rented a car from Belize City to drive to the Cayo District. It was a great jumping off spot to enjoy cave tubing, the Belize Zoo, Rio on Pools, Big Rock Falls, San Ignacio, and Xunantunich.

April - May 2023

The property was incredible - just as advertised and then some. Every room and the outdoor area was clean, comfortable, and well kept. The pool was kept clean and the landscaping was well maintained. Elias and Betty made us feel welcome by cooking a delicious breakfast and dinner for us each day and cleaning up afterwards. Elias was great to talk with, and took our few dietary requirements and time constraints seriously - effortlessly whipping up beautiful belizian meals. We had plenty of privacy but he was not far whenever needed. Overall it was a wonderful place to wake up to each morning and come home to after a long day of adventuring.
