Beautiful location and property. Great place to spend time with family and friends. Everything very well kept in the house, owners are easy to communicate with. We plan to go back next year!

We loved the historic home and grounds, and convenience to the sites. We were enjoying the trivia cards and the very nice size dining table. The best part of our stay was our son-in-law finding his ancestor's memorial plaque among the monuments, & seeing his name there.

Everything was great! The vicinity to all of the Gettysburg monuments and downtown Gettysburg was wonderful, the beds are comfortable and check-out/in is very simple. There are plenty of places to go out for dinner and that.

Beautiful property! Had everything that we needed for the weekend. Plenty of room. Very clean. We enjoyed the boat and the pond. Would highly recommend. Location is great! We really enjoyed our time in Gettysburg!

Gettysburg History Review

We had a wonderful time in Gettysburg and our stay at the farm was awesome. If you are looking to stay at an old farm house with all the character that offers then this is your place! Every room has its own feel and helps bring a coziness to your stay. we would gladly choose this place again.

Beautiful historic home

We stayed there to attend a local wedding. The house was beautiful and well maintained. The location was perfect. Nice and quiet, no close neighbors and it was easy to find where you were going. Check in/out was super easy.

Great for families with cbildren

The house is charming and spacious. Lots of outdoor space for kids to play. Very convenient to Gettysburg and a short drive to Amish country.

Wonderful home, Great location

This was a perfect home to stay we were in Gettysburg for my Daughters wedding and the family stayed at the house. The location was so close to the venue and we got to visit the battlefields of Gettysburg. Loved that it had a fire pit and the kitchen was perfect for making meals there. Loved the old farm house feel with lots of upgrades.

Family time

I loved this charming farmhouse. The kids had a wonderful time despite not having Internet. loved the yard. my husband went out on the boat. It was a little hard to row with all the algae, but he said it was good exercise. I would definitely stay here again.

Time period feeling

Very peaceful and worth the money to stay here. Old farmhouse and a few things are expected with that. The property owners were very responsive to our questions. It was a great day!

Weekend retreat

The property was amazing with the pond , fire pit and plenty of yard for the kids to play. The fishing was great, caught plenty of fish. The house was large and full of rustic charm and history.

Gettyburg Gem

Loved this property and highly recommend. Rustic, lovely, easy kitchen, and accommodating host were big assets. Right on the edge of a Battlefield, and an easy drive into town made this a very lovely time with family. Pond in the back and paddleboat were a big hit, and the fireflies put on an amazing show (that was a bonus!). Thank you much!

Wonderful getaway

Beautiful property - great location for experiencing G-burg while avoiding the tourist corridor. Retreating into the countryside following a day of exploring the battlefield was ideal. Fire pit was much appreciated as was the full kitchen and large dining room for meals and evening card games. Just what our extended family was in much need of!

Awesome property!! Beautiful house! Could not have ask for anything more!! Great for civil war insuitust, like our family!! 4 grandkids age 11- 21, not once did they watch TV!! To busy out side exploring, swinging and rowboating! Everyone has a fantastic time, beautiful memories!! Awesome place and host!! Highly recommend!!

Relaxing charm and character close to the East Cavalry Battlefield

We loved this early 1900’s farmhouse! It was the perfect location for our visit to Gettysburg. Anna, the host, was so easy to contact with any questions we had and responded very quickly. The pond, barn and surrounding yard and fields were the perfect outdoor setting for being outside with coffee in the mornings or evenings. So relaxing. And the house has lots of charm character. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.

College Graduation

Our son was graduating from Gettysburg College so I needed a place for the grandparents and us to stay. This was perfect! Everyone enjoyed the solitude and the screened porch was popular for morning coffee. I especially appreciated the large dining room table where we all fit and could sit and reminisce. It was a wonderful weekend and having this “home base” was so much better than hotel rooms somewhere. Thanks for the wonderful weekend!
