Highly recommended.

Couldn’t speak highly enough of the host or the property. We were treated like family by Peter the owner. A very nice welcome followed by a fantastic stay. A beautiful house, kept very clean and tidy. The room we stayed was exactly as advertised in the photos. It’s in reason location too. In the middle of the Island so getting any where by car is easy, despite the roads in Gozo.

A beautiful house of character very tsstefully decorated and furnished. A place of tranquillity and peacefulness. Attention to detail in bathroom and room guest comfort is obvious and much appreciated. Superb hosts! There is nothing not to like about this place. Highly recommended!

A wonderful place and so much space! The welcome we received from Warren was very warm and always on hand for advice. Great pool area, bedroom with living area, use of kitchen, what wasn’t there to like. Bus runs every hour to the capital and on time.

Romantisch, wunderschön, tolle Gastgeber und professionelles Team, Exzellentes Frühstück, tolle INfrastruktur, großes Erholungswert, in 1 Wort ein idealer Ort um sich zu entspannen (massagen & Sauna werden sogar zu einem fairen Preis angeboten) und die Seele am Pool oder in einem der vielen schönen Ecken dieses wunderschönen Anwesens baumeln zu lassen.

A beautiful place to relax, it really feels like you are being welcomed into their home. The owners went well out of their way to help us make plans and reservations. There is a wonderful spread at breakfast and a grocery store a short walk away. I would say that hiring a car is a must, the nearest village to go to dinner is 3km away it's a nice walk but only a few restaurants there to choose from.

Merci à Peater et Warren pour leur générosité, la qualité de leur accueil et leur serviabilité. Séjourner chez eux c’est pénétrer dans une maison qui a une (belle) âme tout comme leurs propriétaires. Cet endroit est à privilégier si vous cherchez à sortir des chambres d’hôtels standardisées. Des espaces communs qui incitent à la détente et le petit déjeuner incite à la gourmandise. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

Wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay in Dar Tal-Kaptan. We stayed in the Serenity room, which was beautiful, as the area around. Warren is a fantastic host, super nice and friendly, had a lot of excellent recommendations. This is a great place to take a moment and relax.

The whole experience at Dar Tal-Kaptan from arrival to departure was delightful. We were welcomed by Peter with a tour of the house and what it had to offer, were offered drinks (on the house) and when eventually Warren also arrived yet another interesting conversation ensued. In fact exchange of ideas is their lifeblood complemented by a most exotic, engaging and thought provoking collection of art, sculpture and artefacts from the hosts wide travels occupying every available wall and surface. The philistine or prudish will feel very out of place here! Our apartment Tranquillity was spacious, thoughtfully furnished and comfortable. Stunning views from two balconies, ancient internal stonework of the style of Gozo's Citadel but with hot water and air-con to provide the modern touch! Breakfast was the highlight with Peter and Warren serving up a wide selection of freshly prepared fare to satisfy the most demanding of guest. Fresh fruit salad, fruit smoothies, Gozo cheeses, cold meats, local fresh bread and Peter's delicious omelettes! It was at these breakfasts that we really got to know our hosts and what Gozo had to offer for our 5 day sojourn. Whether restaurant, heritage site or beach, Peter and Warren were a font of information. We were sad to leave Dar Tal-Kaptan but ultimately happy in the knowledge we would return to Peter and Warren's unique hospitality in the future. Absolutely recommended...

Absolut tolle, herzliche Unterkunft

Wir waren 4 Nächte bei Warren und Peter untergebracht und hatten eine tolle Zeit in Gozo. Das Frühstück ist einfach köstlich, besser kann es nicht sein. Täglich abwechselnde selbstgemachten Speisen z.B. frischer Obstsalat, Smoothie, Eigerichte, frisches Brot (maltesische Brot ist ein Muss) und vieles Mehr! Warren und Peter sind absolut nett, interessiert und herzlich im Umgang man fühlt sich dort sehr familiär. Toll ist der Ausblick von der Sonnenterasse. Unser Zimmer war absolut geräumig und süß eingerichtet und das Bad war neu und gut gepflegt. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt die Matratze war schon etwas durchgelegen. Sollten wir wieder mal nach Gozo kommen würden wir zu 100% wieder Warren & Peters Unterkunft buchen.

Fabulous stay away from the maddening crowds

Your hosts, Peter and Warren, are absolutely fantastic and they go above and beyond to make sure your holiday is all you wished it to be. They really make you feel at home and part of the family. The house is a maze, quirky and full of character. The pool is lovely and the adjoining jacuzzi devine. I am not a big breakfast person but the couple of times I did go it was delicious. You won't want for anything. The area is quiet and far from the maddening crowds, which was perfect for me. If you are looking for somewhere with wall to wall bars and nightclubs, this is not the place for you.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit selbstgemachtem Frühstück. Ruhig gelegen, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sehr schöne, große, individuelle Zimmer mit guten Betten.
