“Beautiful house. Very private and quiet which is what we needed. Drove the sxs right from the house to Rockhouse trail. Hot tub was relaxing. Porch was perfect for afternoon cocktails and the back room came in handy when it was raining. Being full of windows it still felt like we were outside. Owners are wonderful, easy to deal with. As everyone said, driveway is sketchy. All in all, it was a great place. We were very happy and satisfied!! ”

“Room was clean and well stocked. There is a fridge and microwave which I couldn't tell from the listing, and was nice to have! Nice location close to Matewan where our event was located. Quiet area and lots of parking which was great since we had two cars. My only "complaint" was too many plug in air fresheners, but that's a personal preference that I won't hold against them :) I just unplugged them during our stay so I didn't get a migraine. ”

The house was very clean and only a short mile to the trail system down the road looks like very nice neighborhood wasn't worried about anything what do ever. Has everything you need at the house including firewood bathroom utensils and all other necessities.i would definitely think about staying there again and if you are looking and pick this place you won't be sorry!”

“Words cannot describe how great the owner is. He was more than accommodating and gave us all the tips on how to get our trail permits for the trails. He even stopped by to make sure we were all good and didn’t have any questions. It was a mile down the road to two different trails and we could just drive our side by sides right to the trail my truck and trailer never left the driveway. I would stay here again when visiting the trails. ”
