    This all-season getaway is waiting to welcome you for rest and recreation in gorgeous Gilford. Ideally situated near the base of Gunstock Mountain, this three-bedroom home is within easy reach of winter sports and conveniently located near Lake Winnipesaukee beaches and water access for summertime fun. Explore one of the area's many hiking trails and discover beautiful fall foliage during the autumn months. The perfect home base for adventure, this serene retreat boasts a suite of private features furnished for comfort including a private sauna.



    The Space:

    The bright interior has been tastefully updated with modern design and amenities throughout. The full kitchen is equipped for home cooking with a set of stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, and a handy array of cookware, counter gadgets, and serving utensils. Family meals can be enjoyed together at the dining table set for six. Or, fire up the gas grill and treat your guests to an alfresco meal out on the deck. After the day's activities recharge with a sauna session at home. In the evenings, unwind in the living room with shows and movies on the smart TV.

Super easy check in although unable to unlock one of the lock boxes for a key. Initially smelled of moth balls but smell faded as stay progressed. Television was a bit difficult to figure out and after communication with Casiago we reset the router and were able to watch live television. The Bedroom upstairs with balcony had a great view but the mattress was not great. Very convenient if your are skiing as Gunstock was super close. Also very quiet and serene. We did not get to use the sauna but it looked great! Plenty of dishes and silverware. Linens were clean, washer and dryer available which was awesome. Overall it was a great fit for 6 adults

Deceptive ad having the title say that the property has a fireplace only to be told after we book we can't use it. Yard up keep was poor as there is poison ivy everywhere. Trash bins were still full when we got there.

The property was very clean, well organized. We didn't use anything, but they provided pans, utensils and more. Only two things: there are no curtains on any of the windows of the bedrooms, just blinds, so bring something if you plan to sleep in past 5am. The other thing, the upstairs might have a few flies and larger ants, probably a hole in the attic or something. Other then this, it was great!

Great property. Suana easily fits 2 adults. Excellent views and plenty of room. Great place overall. 3 minutes away from the Bronco off roadeo too!

Host communication was great, there were some minor issues with the house that we didn't discover till later in the evening so we didn't report it. But the TV remotes didn't work other than to turn on or turn off and the first floor bed wasn't the most comfortable. The Sauna was AMAZING especially after a long day of skiing. You are RIGHT next to gunstock the view is beautiful and it was great to be so close.

Was such a great place if you’re going to Gunstock. Was a mother daughter’s snowboarding trip. It is maybe a mile from the mountain. Everything that you would ever need in the house was there. The view also was so pretty of the mountain, especially at night when Gunstock had their lights on. We will definitely be back. It was perfect!

Easy-to-find property

This home is well appointed (nice shades, newer windows). It's relatively close to everything we wanted to do. We even took a day trip to Portland, ME to see lighthouses and it was only a couple hours away. We definitely enjoyed our stay here.

This was a beautifully set up home, excellent location. It was difficult staying here with no air conditioning with sleeping quarters on the second floor.

Sweet little place. Excellent location, it's quiet with places to walk and explore. Pet friendly is a great plus!Home needs better mattresses and pillows. Also needs airing out. Views from many windows with good blinds to help the getaway feel special, and airing quick weather permitting. We didn't use the sauna, so I can't review.

Nice place

Lovely stay. Very close to Gunstock. I would say the cabin would get tight with more than 4. Not a lot of storage area for your activity gear. Really enjoyed the sauna.

Loved the amenities this home had to offer including the fire pit, grill, sauna, and board games! Perfect location for hiking and visiting the lake in the summer. Very clean. Just some small issues including that the bathroom door didn’t close fully and the shower/sink took some time to drain but overall a very enjoyable stay!

Perfect little gateway

The moment you walk in you feel like you are home. The view was perfect in living area and up stairs bedroom. Even in the kitchen you felt like you could be apart of the conversation happening in the living area. It is a house my friends and I decide that it would be a house we would love to come back to in the future.

Birthday Trip

We came up for my birthday and pumpkin fest in Laconia. It was a great location, close to Mount Major for our hike and Laconia for the festival. The house was really nice, pretty spot on to the listing. There were a few kitchen tools that would have been nice to have (measuring cups/mixing bowls) but we were able to work around it. All in all, the house was great. Check in was so easy and so was check out.

Great Little Gilford Home

Excellent location. Close proximity to amenities. Best part is you can walk out the front door to hiking trails in the Belknaps! House was comfortable and clean. Kitchen utensils could use a bit of upgrading and stick a few more bowls. Vacasa was ok. They did not follow up on some communication.
