Malabar Cove - LAKEFRONT, QUIET, & RELAXING!

  • Malabar Cover is a cozy, quiet, and relaxing lakefront home on the Little Bay De Noc portion of Lake Michigan. The home has a huge backyard on the lake, which provides lots of space for kids to play. Two kayaks are included! The backyard also has a large deck with outdoor furniture and a very nice firepit for bonfires. Inside, the home is very cozy with a woodsy and nautical theme throughout the home. This is a great place for exploring the U.P. or just relaxing and enjoying the beauty!


    PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

    1) WATER: The property has well water, which can cause the water to possibly have an iron taste. We recommend using bottled water.

    2) PET POLICY: All pets are strictly prohibited at the property.

    3) NO AIR CONDITIONING: Please note that the property does NOT have air conditioning. As such, it may get warm in the house during the summer if it is warm outside.

    4) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

    5) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.

    6) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.

Best time the weather was perfect to spend our day/night out by the fire-pit to enjoy the Lake! Last evening we watched the Northern Lights!The home was very comfy could not have been more comfortable for 4 friends to spends a long weekend!

We had a nice week of just relaxing, we did a waterfall loop and a bit of local siteseeing. The house was clean, comfortable and well equiped.

Malabar Cove was a great place. Very spacious and comfortable. The view of the bay was amazing and our nightly four legged visitors were fun to watch. Lisa was very helpful with an internet issue and resolved the problem quickly. We would recommend this property.

Relaxing lake life week

Wonderful property. Close enough to anything we'd need in Escanaba and still felt "away from it all" during our stay. Check in was simple and easy, and while the host was always only a text or phone call away, we found ourselves wanting for nothing. Such a great stay.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a great stay! Particularly loved the huge and comfy living room with great views of the lake along with a large television, which provided for a fun family movie night! We also had a lot of fun hiking at the Days River Nature Trail, which is just 1.8 miles from the cabin.

Wonderful location right on the lake! Kayaks and a canoe are available to use on the property. The cabin is clean, comfortable and cozy. We loved the big windows in the living room where we could enjoy watching the wildlife and the lake right outside the windows! Both Gladstone and Escanaba have a wonderful sandy beach, one of the best ones we have seen in Michigan. Lots to do in the area!

Fishing Vacation

Stayed for a week. Great view right in the water. Easy parking for a boat! The house was on a dead end street in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Dear roamed through the yard in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again.

Very relaxing property. Wood burning fireplace was a nice touch. Great time to get out of the house and put winter to bed.
