I booked this apartment for my guests coming from down south. Firstly main close was out of order we had to press different buzzer to get in and it was stinking badly. Inside everything was out of order , boilers wasn’t turning on . Shower mixture wasn’t working . Iron was either to hot or turning off. Most dangerous happened was one member stuck in bathroom because door lock was stuck and he couldn’t opened then we had to arrange screw driver and opened all lock to freed him from toilet. I phoned several time in tartan lodge and reported them, A lady answered phone and says I need to have words and phone u back but she didn’t phone back. Then I keep keep trying but no answer. Honest to God I had faced lot of embarrassment infront of my guests. I swear all above I wrote is 100% right no any exaggeration. Hopefully you will take action and let me know. Regards.

Property is dirty and in poor repair. Two windows were ajar when we arrived, fortunately I was able to fix both. Check-in is completed at a site miles away, and requires payment of 100 GBP in cash ("our card machine broke this morning"). Neighborhood is strewn with garbage and noisy.

Terrible

I booked this late without reading any reviews, the place was clean but that was about all it had going for it, £100 pound deposit was required before the keys were handed over, the keys we an 18 mile journey away. The property is a rundown ground floor flat in a rundown area of town, Fixtures and fittings are all low budget.

Furnished apartment in a great location

A little tricky to get the keys as you have to pick them up at a youth hostel which is about 10 - 15 drive or a 30 minute run from Glasgow Central Station. Then you can go back to Central Station and take a 2 station hop to Queen's Park station which is minutes away from the apartment. Not a polished place but clean and comfortable and has everything you need including a nice hot shower, lots of comfortable beds and a full kitchen including a nice TV. A very active and diverse neighbourhood who seemed to really enjoy spending time on the streets. :) There is a grocery store just down the road that is open till 2200 to keep costs down - not much else in terms of local restaurants though.

OK apartment but dirty neighborhood

The apartment is ok for the price - the rent was cheap and of course accommodation will be accordingly. Apart from some dirty dishes and cutlery - which is more the fault of earlier visitors than of the owners - the apartment was clean enough. But the neighborhood was very dirty with garbage lying around in the street and on the pavement.

It's ok, just

The apartment is a one off in a block of flats. You need to arrange to meet with the manager to get in, there is no reception or sign that identifies the property. While it's been recently renovated a quite comfortable the general area is a little feral.

Poor location

Apartment was reasonably clean with comfortable beds but located in an undesirable area of Glasgow. There were many local youths hanging about making it noisy & intimidating., day & night. The windows were filthy where eggs had been thrown at the windows & not cleaned up. The host had not taken the time to repair a lock that was damaged & no longer operational on the front door. There were two other locks that did work but the broken lock looked unsightly. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke that permeated the apartment throughout the night from adjoining properties. I would not recommend this apartment & would not stay again.
