When I booked the picture and explanation were ok. but on arrival, it was not what it announces. My room was so small I didn't have enough space for my luggage. The furniture were broken, scratch out of date. The room that was given to me was above the neon sign of the hôtel so light all night. No climatisation and it was hot. I will never go back or recommend.

This property is located right next door to the train station. Very convenient location. Easy to walk to shopping and restaurants. Friendly staff. Has a great bar with seating overlooking George Square.

Location location location right on George's square. I had 2 different rooms, one small with single bed. It was okay tho dated. The second room was roomy with queen bed. Hair dryer, floor fan, iron & ironing board provided as well as a safe in the closet easily accessible.

Great Location. Close to train station and overlooks George Square. Lovely spacious bedroom. Has a nice grandeur about it unlike some of the modern hotels.

Room was HUGE in comparison to most we have stayed in while in Europe. Could use a little updating, but clean and perfect for our quick stay. Great location (adjacent to) to the train station, and a few fun pubs on the square. Also close to get to bus that takes you directly to the airport.

Booked a basic room at a good price for overnight in Glasgow. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom towels lovely and fluffy. Room a bit tired but ok. Didn’t eat in hotel but had drink in bar. A bit of background music in this area would have been nice. Staff at check in/check out very friendly as was the lady serving in bar. Location for us was excellent and right beside Queen Street Station.

Hotel with some character - lovely staircase and corridors - and with some rooms overlooking St George's Square. I enjoyed being able to sit in the dining room for breakfast looking out on the Square.

Above and beyond attitude and effort of all staff members to make the guests feel welcome and properly looked after. The hotel is located perfectly amongst shopping and dining areas and places competing with each other to offer better goods and services. Transport to and from the hotel is faultless - there are train, bus and taxi connections literally at the doorstep. The rooms are charming, very clean and very comfortable. An absolute pleasure to stay at this hotel and without any doubt worth coming back to.

Det var ett trevligt hotell som kändes så där gammaldags skotskt/brittiskt. Jättetrevlig personal, lite halvfulfina rum. Städning och service funkade bra. Jättebra läge, många bra konsertlokaler, restauranger och pubar i närheten.

Older style but staff and location make up for it
This hotel gets a bad rep but we had a really good stay. Hotel was once the grand dame of Glasgow hotels and I stayed there on many occasions over the years. Unfortunately hotel has been supersede by new more modern establishments. Millenium hotels have also underfunded this hotel so they need to either sell up,or pour some money it. Rooms are larger than expected, spotlessly clean and well equipped but the public spaces are sad and empty. Seems to also be short staffed. Housekeeping doing a fantastic job with spotless rooms and reception were lovely. Well,done to the team

Lovely Hotel pity about Breakfast
Lovely hotel great location pity only one lift was working and reception didn’t have me booked in for breakfast despite the fact that my booking showed it. Breakfast was a disaster due to the fact that it was stone cold I told the waiter that even the plate was stone cold but he didn’t offer to change it.

Hotel in the City Centre
Hotel is very close to the Queen train station and is located in the City Centre of Glasgow. I would say is a 3 star and not 4 star hotel. Prons: City centre Different size of pillows to suits your need Cons: My room was located very close to train station so I could hear the train announcements. Loud bang noise from electric radiator every now and then. Very loud AC while working, no way you can sleep with the AC on. Cracks and mould in the bathroom. Breakfast: basic but you can have your full. English breakfast on request.

Fading gem
Very central hotel by George Square in Glasgow. Grand building but needs a face lift. Carpets worn and decor shabby. Lovely staff. Rooms big and spacious, bathroom in my from was bigger than some hotel rooms! But again had a very run down look with stains on carpet, setting and walls. This hotel needs some investment!
