“A gorgeous place to stay. We loved our time at Aquila and felt so relaxed and refreshed being there. The room was clean and cosy, especially with the fire on. “The Good: check in and parking was easy. We checked in late and found the SMS instructions to get the key from the keysafe very clear. Bed linen and towels were clean - which was a relief. Soap, shower gel and shampoo/conditioner was all fine. The Ugly: bathroom looked clean and could tell it was renovated. However we could tell it wasn't clean - did have marks on tiles that should have come off with a scrub. There was black muck on the shower screen that would come off with bleach. Carpets...

In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s.
